"days likely terrified" yeah. When the ATMs empty-out during "likely" bank holidays we're all likely to be scared of what the numbers in our accounts and/or the currency will be!
Also, "terrified" is what many will be when crime increases from those unable to buy their ciggies, booze and other addictions' necessities.
Next, "selling puppies." Metaphoric for desperately raising funds for necessities in any way possible?
