Last time a total eclipse was visible from coast to coast was in 1918. The last total eclipse visible in the lower 48 states was 1979.
With the mention of Easter and the reference to the eclipse, we have a rough time frame for whatever's being referenced. IOW, spring and summer. Makes sense, at least from a northern hemisphere point of view. As the temps rise, so do tempers and emotions.
