Here's a stray thought: is EASTER MANKIND DIVIDED talking a timeframe, or is it referring to Christians (descriptor EASTER MANKIND)? As in Christians will be divided somehow?

I had some similar thoughts GG.
Easter mankind divided might refer to the fact that the Eastern Orthodox Churches and the Western Churches usually celebrate Easter on different dates.  It might also refer to the fact that there are many branches of Christianity.  There hasn't been a unified church in 1,000 years.

engage waste loved little hurry - someone has a long engagement? or perhaps the engagement would be a waste, there is little time left, love is in a hurry so maybe marry now?
