With the senate events of today, I would say Jeff Flake is purple. This was possibly about Flake and the hearing and calling for an investigating.

This is an important message and I feel accurate.
Purple describes what happens when you blend blue and red and we see a lot of blue and red right now.  Separated base would be the political bases, separated in blue and red.  We should be on the lookout for purple.  I believe we will be seeing purple after the upcoming election.  A lot more purple.  Be on purple watch.
