Indeed, untold $, huge amounts of it helped to elect BO from all over the globe. Early in '08 a news report "blip" got out that his campaign was being investigated by the FBI for "illegal contributions from all over the globe." That was soon hushed. Now? I wonder how huge of interntional $ is fighting against Netanyahu. (My hunch is that it's mostly the very same people in both cases.)

Nanny, I think your second statement helps annotate why this is such a potentially huge story. In my humble worldview, the financiers are those who really control and dictate big decisions (like who will take office, for example). Thus, when the finance minister says he's going to have a tough campaign, I actually believe him.
