Owls and Parrots
#11
Owls are messengers, often harbingers of death. However, you also need to consider how you interpret the appearance of owls.

I'm not familiar with parrots as totems but the vibe I got from these parrots was more the name and what it represents than a totem message. Parrots learn to speak through mimicry, "parroting" words back. In essence, they don't speak for themselves. They speak only what they have been taught to say.

The owls break the parrots' backs. The message is more than the "parrots," those who don't think or speak for themselves, that which is too much for them to assimilate, a breaking of their backs.

The two columns might indicate two events but I don't think so. More like it was being shown twice to demonstrate the importance of whatever the message might be.
