California's drought is shocking me the most, perhaps because I didn't pay attention and it caught me off-guard, or perhaps because it's actually gotten worse much quicker than Texas' drought. Cali. is hurting largely because the environmentalists succeeded in bullying their legislature into denying a big canal? or something akin to one, to move water up and down in that state.
In part, Texas drought is caused by less rain after a huge influx of folks moving there from all-over, but interestingly, as a large amount leave California, they've reportedly moved to Texas.
