ET invasion

This is a dream I've had over the years from time to time. I live in Texas and do not like the cold. In the dream ETs were comming and we had to flee north of the Canadian boarder. I was dreading the trip because I have always lived in Texas and did not look forward to frigid temperatures or leaving my home. We were walking north, don't know why we didn't drive or fly. We could see the ships if we looked back. We went further and further north but for some reason the temperature remained constant. I don't know who I was with just know I traveled in a group.
