gas rationed
#1
so i had a dream gas was rationed and we were in some form of security state.

I can't remember if I intended to dream about December events or not. - In reality only those with reasons to have gas had it available to them. We stole a van from someone so that the guy working for me could get home. Something happened and Dogs were chasing the individual who repacked the van, so the other could drive it home after work.

For some strange reason I have felt something was going to take place in December and hope that my kid makes it home from Nepal prior to whatever happens.

Going back to another dream about snow and me jumping into the river to help save some kids... It was odd how quickly everything changed from warm to snow and ice and barricades blocking people from going from place to place. After having frost in August we have had an extremely milked fall that continues, hopefully for another week or two. Typically our pastures are covered in snow and it sure makes work much easier.

Anyway, many car wrecks happened on our main road this weekend, because the weather was so nice and yet there were three patches of ice on an otherwise dry road.

Actually, this dream does make sense it snowed in Russia and Romania in a couple of places it has never snowed in the month of August. The flooding in Texas could start to cause gas rationing if there is trouble with refineries and it's already causing gas prices to go up. Martial of some form could be a definite possibility in eastern Texas due to the horrible flooding going there still.

I'm on the Gulf coast of Texas and we've had a nice cool-down since Hurricane Harvey hit. Whenever we have these hurricanes one of the first shortages is gas because of flooded roads the gas trucks can't get around to supply the gas stations.

All the refineries around Houston are shut down now. One third of the oil refined in USA is done so in Houston area.

Not sure the dream has to do with the hurricane... as it was so long ago.

Yeah but natural disaster in wrong area such as Houston definitely could lead to gas rationing because one third of the refineries in usa are in the Houston area and a guy on the tv said the earliest any of the refineries would be back up and running is September 15. Dream don't always show you everything just bits and pieces of the future most of the time is my experience. Hurricane season is far from over yet and that region could easily get hit again...if those refineries were to be permanently put out of commission or for a year or two you could easily see gas rationing happen.

Yes, I suppose and I guess the larger the event the further out in the future the dream may be seen.... right???

Well, at least how see much of the USA infrastructure is prone to great disasters and the ripple effects it can have on other parts of economy and us they can have even without directly having been in the disaster. It would only take about 10 of the big transformers in the power grid of us to pretty much take down the power grid of USA and how a great percentage of the us refineries sit in big time disaster prone places like a coastline. Hurricane IRMA could possibly go into the gulf of Mexico still...the chances of that have gotten better now but it could still go elsewhere and the first refineries aren't suppose to be back in operation until September 15....and all the flooding in Houston will not go down for a couple of weeks...so if there were to be a lot more rain from a tropical system in the during that time who knows what could happen...downtown Houston will be a goner if addicks dam were to fail which is only an earthen dam and not concrete. Louisana got saturated by Harvey too so if another hurricane were to hit soon it could be in the same boat as the Texas coastline and shut down the refineries there too.

I live near San Antonio, TX, and while we don't have rationing, we do have gas lines and there are gas lines all over the city. Reminds me of the gas lines from the embargo during the 70's.

There is new tropical depression in the gulf of Mexico right now and it's looking better organized than earlier today...moving mph east...plus Irma just went over Antigua and Barbuda with 185 mph winds...not looking good. Yeah don't think gas rationing couldn't happen sooner or later due to natural disasters and disruption to not so good economy.

I'm hearing second hand reports that gas is being rationed in Florida.  10 gallons per customer, with the price as high as $7.20 per gallon. Police escorts are being given to the gas tanker drivers.  Also, some tankers are being follow to their gas station deliveries (by people who need gas).  It looks like your dream has some accuracy to it.

Around the Tampa Bay Area, it's long lines and the stations just close when they're dry. Everyone has been pretty rational about it. And the cost has been around $2.69 a gallon.

Actually no power and no gas in Puerto Rico right now. It goes to show you how easily it can happen....a bad electromagnetic pulse or solar flare could wreak havoc elsewhere or mainland usa.

Actually, I did see a video where the FBI is operating what gas stations are open in peurto rico and some people are getting gas but it is being rationed out like in the opec embargo in the 70's.
