The Three Ends

People were migrating from southern Africa. Trees were baren and what trees had anything left on them people were stripping the leaves and bark from. It was like watching it in color on a local news network. The people were hungry and starvation had taken hold of many. Mothers, fathers and siblings were looking back at where children had died. No one had time to bury them. They had to keep moving towards another area. The birds quickly descended on the flesh of the dead not caring about those who walked past them.
A voice stated that this was the first of the three ends. The end of plenty of food for the masses. Two more ends were on the way and would signal the final end. Taking in context with the sceene as it were, it almost looked as it it were a catastrophic disaster caused the food to disappear, but that was not mentioned in the 'newscast' as it were.
