In my backyard, I am approximately the size of a small mouse. As I scurry along the rather tall grass, I am followed intently by a mother robin and 1 of her young. Although the robin is probably average-sized, it appears to be several feet taller than me as I look up into its light yellow coloured beak. It's also possible that I am simply another one of her young.

Once and a while, the mother robin will nip me on the back of the neck, urging me to look for food to feed both her and her young. Obediently, I make my way around the entire backyard, beginning with the vegetable garden on the west side. As I walk, I find that I am growing taller and taller until I return to my normal, human height. When I reach the east fence, there is now a large wooden slab resting against the fence, forming a type of cubby-hole. Crouching down to look inside, I see that it is very dark, but I can just make out a single, old, short, brown and rotting cob of corn growing out of the soil under the fence.
