You mentioned this was within the year? Is that correct? Did you get a sense of when this would start?

Are all the waves you mention in this dream water waves? Are some earthquake waves? ( I know there are earthquakes, just curious about whether waves mean more than one thing in your dream?)

"the indigenous tribes will survive where those who depend on their modern conveniences will either leave or remain to descend into anarchy and barbarism"
In what way do you mean leave? Leave the planet, this dimension, leave the area?
The man from the east, is he who you saw before, the beautiful one I think it was, not from the US? Is it east Asia or Eastern Europe he comes from?
Also, the explosion/blast that begins everything. Was it a bomb? A volcano eruption?
