Sound of Silence

This is an old song, performed in a way that makes it new again. More visceral, IMO. First time I heard this version, it felt like it grabbed me by the throat.

Seemed appropriate since the lyrics are about what was seen in "restless dreams."

Profound! this old song is much better by this dude. I had never heard of or notice had I, the group "Disturbed." Something about him reminded me of the dude that sang for "Creed!" Oh man, Stamp was his last name, and his songs went to my bone marrow.

Thanks for posting this. I left the window up at youtube so I can go taste some of their/his other songs, perchance to have another favorite song of theirs.

PS edited in here....oh wow, just found the lyrics to their songs on each album, UH HUH....they have something in common with Creed. They are "church music" a large segment of the younger crowd, if only for the ones that are hearing/noting what is being said. The lyrics to their song "The Light" or something about the light, are awesome.
