Good catch since these combined do speak of our situation right now. Austin area flooding again, us in East Texas threatened in-part, etc.
What hit me is "battle clouds." A ".gov" website has complete text of a talk that a Sec. of state? dang will look this up again, from more than a decade ago, gave. In it he said that "other nations" were engineering storms and even earthquakes!
Hmm, no wonder some conservative websites owned by dudes that do not sound nutty, claim that our state is being attacked by weather engineering. Hmmm......indeed.

Note this is ".gov" website, recorded testimony of then Sec. of Defense William Cohen. In the bottom part of this lengthy paragraph he talks of other nations altering climate, setting-off earthquake and volcanoes! He says in the following paragraph that "this is real." (I've read another website trying to discount this, saying it was just used as an example of fake threats, etc. No, it was not. It was said in the same "breath" and therefore in the same paragraph that he talked of false alarms. you'll see.....)
