Sacrificial altar built for Temple Mount
#1
When I was talking with a friend about blood sacrifices, she casually mentioned that a ritual altar was being built to be used on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. This was news to me so I went a-searching. Sure enough, http://www.breakingisraelnews.com/32009/...ish-world/

There are those who believe this fulfills prophecy from Revelations: http://www.new2torah.com/2012/02/israel-...ple-mount/ This article is 3 years old, so at that time the altar had not been built. I include it mainly for the prophetic references.

And another, more recent article: http://www.wnd.com/2015/03/holy-altar-co...sh-temple/

Sort of a historical review of the Temple Mount: http://www.endtime.com/endtime-magazine-...ple-mount/

There are so many sites discussing this that I can't believe I hadn't heard of it before.

Wow, maybe they really will break-ground for the third temple! I was starting to think that it was going to be a building that they borrowed/bought and retrofitted for the Holy of holies, etc.

I wonder if they will sacrifice a ram, or what. Ram is in a recent run so I guess that's why it came to mind, or is that one of the animals they did sacrifice? Gotta look it up.

PS, just read up on it a bit. No definitive answer if there will even be animal sacrifices. Some Orthodox Jews want it to be, but hasn't been done in thousands of years.

And I think they're planning on the sacrifice to be performed on Passover, which will be 4 April...the same day as the blood moon.

Ahh, indeed a red heifer was born there in, I think the early nineties. I wonder which side will win this debate over there, those for the sacrifice or those against it. This will be fun to watch, and I don't mean that lightly or poking fun at them.
