Paradigm 3 & Collective Cycles: The power is in the timing

This article is post #3 in an ongoing series called “In Search of Paradigm 3.” It is based off the original article found here (inferring about Paradigm 1).

Part 2 was here (a fine expose of Paradigm 2 and what it offers)

Part 3 was here (what is Paradigm 3?…an overview.)

….and today, we get closer to Paradigm 3, except there’s a bit more essential background info to understand.

First, Is it even possible to work out these two juxtaposed paradigms, both of which are necessary for humanity’s survival? The answer is yes, but it isn’t some sort of casual or superficial yes. Not only CAN we work this out, but we MUST work it out. Humanity’s survival depends on us to make this transition successfully.

Overview

Basically what we’re going to do is see the world as clearly as possible without judgment and then we are going to apply our free will and creativity to change the course of our world.

Step 1: Understand the Forces

Remember that Paradigm 1 is incredibly great at seeing the true condition of the world around us. The reason this is valuable is a fairly in-depth conversation, but it starts with knowing that there are two basic forces at play in our world:

1. Those forces we can and do control, and

2. The forces beyond our control.

Now, before I lose all the Paradigm 2 people (these people will argue that we are infinitely powerful and there’s nothing that we cannot do), let me quickly explain the uncontrollable force.

Our world, our reality is very cyclic. The earth revolves around the sun in a predictable cycle. Many trees’ leaves fall off in autumn, only to bud again in the spring. As above, so below, and we can feel this phenomenon in our own bodies. The circadian rhythm is largely what makes us want to sack out at fairly predictable times, assuming we haven’t really jacked up our natural cycles (i.e., drugs, entertainment, etc. can make this automatic system go haywire if we’re not careful).

The point of all this cyclic discussion is that there is a big portion of the cyclic forces that we cannot control. How many days/nights can you stay awake without any sleep? If you truly had full control of your body, you’d be able to stay awake indefinitely without any consequence.

However, in our world, the longer you refuse to sleep, the more impact on your immune system (and many other biological processes). You have the control to ignore the cyclic sleep requirement for a time, but collapse will ensue at some point (either that or disease, depression, death, etc.)

In short, there is a part of the waking/sleeping process you can control, but there’s also an element you can’t control. Such is life. Some of it you can control successfully, but other aspects you cannot control at all.

Here’s another example….controlling people (and this brings up all sorts of theological and philosophical arguments). Can you control others? Yes, you can, sometimes. Should you control others? Ah, a moral dilemma. Would you stop a child from running into the road, keeping him from getting hit by a car? I would hope so. So, here we are again. Some people we can and should control, and at other times, we should not even attempt to control them.

By the way, the philosophical quandary in controlling others is based on the concept of free will. Some would argue that we should never attempt to circumscribe someone else’s free will, but that debate will be left for another venue.

Step 2: The timing of the uncontrollable forces.

Have you noticed that there are good times and bad times to tackle certain projects? Most of us wouldn’t think to begin gardening in the middle of the night. There’s a whole laundry list of reasons why this is not a very advantageous time to do it, but the biggest reason (for most people) would be the circadian rhythm. The body is simply not ready to do something like that during the nighttime cycle.

Such is life with the collective projects. Right now, humanity is poised for certain events and not ready for other events. The collective mind is cyclic, with various periods and frequencies for the different types of cycles. For example, the individual’s circadian rhythm is daily, but there are other bigger cycles, such as a monthly menstrual cycle, or an annual solar cycle. There are so many other cycles, too, such as the sun experiences a pole reversal about every 11 years.

Some cycles are microseconds and others are measured in millennia.

Such is the way with the collective unconscious. At any moment in time, depending on where we are in our various cycles, we might be ready for love, forgiveness, and peace. However, at other times, we are more poised for argument, anxiety, and bickering.

What determines the timing of humanity’s cycles?

If you haven’t guessed already, the answer is both. We control some of the cycle, but there’s also an aspect above our control. For example, depending on what we feed our minds everyday, both literally and figuratively, will determine some of the cycle, but planetary influences can make a big difference in determining the weather, our emotional states, and the stability and quality of energy around us.

Both the uncontrollable forces and the controllable forces (our thoughts, beliefs, emotions, actions, obsessions are a few examples of the controllable forces) intermingle together to determine our individual and collective cycles. All these forces, then, determine what humanity is ready for at any moment of any day.

How do we know what’s in favor at any time?

This is partly what the DreamForecast is all about. Any modality that can tap into the collective unconscious can help map out this question. I believe that dreams are a valuable way to view our current cycles, although we’re probably only getting a patchy view of it at this early stage in the DreamForecast journey.

If billions of people are affecting the collective unconscious and we only have thousands of dreamers, then this probably means we’re only getting a rough sample at any moment. Astrologists and other clairvoyants can sometimes pick up on the bigger cycles, too. Thus, at some point, we’ll have to overlap our work to get a clearer view of the collective.

Step 3: Why the collective cycles matter

child swing

Imagine pushing a child on a swing. If the child wants to go higher, it is optimal to wait for a specific time to push her higher. If you push as the wrong time, you’ll actually stunt the swing and cause her to slow down.

But if you wait for the PERFECT time to push her, this marks the time where you can exert minimum force and still get the child swinging higher.

Timing is critical for the collective, too. If we’re desiring a harmonic increase in consciousnesses, but humanity isn’t ready for it, then we actually dampen the collective swing by intending at the wrong time! Read that again to ensure that sinks in. This isn’t intuitive when compared to our current understanding of how we co-create our reality.

If you make a valuable intention but at the wrong time, then you’ll actually stunt humanity’s cyclic swing. But if you wait for precisely the right time to make your intention, this is where you won’t need as strong of a push (intention), you’ll actually need less people, and most importantly, you’ll get humanity swinging higher (i.e., to a higher frequency).

Milestone Understandings

Imagine the child again on the swing. The child is humanity. The adult pushing the swing is the uncontrollable forces at work with us. So, there’s two ways that humanity’s makes its swing move. We can shift our weight at the right time (controllable forces), and we have the universal forces pushing us periodically (uncontrollable forces).

Paradigm 1 mindset will help us figure out our true condition and where we are located in our cyclic swing. What is humanity poised for at this moment? That’s the Paradigm 1 gift.

Paradigm 2 mindset will help humanity shift their weight to swing higher. Remember, though: if they shift too early or too late, they dampen humanity’s swing.

Paradigm 3 harnesses the power of both. They understand where humanity is in it’s in cyclic swing from Paradigm 1’s awareness. Then they call upon Paradigm 2’s powerful creative forces, asking them to push the swing higher, but only at the exact right time. The awareness from Paradigm 1 tells Paradigm 2 people WHEN to push. The secret is in the timing.

Next Week

This series will continue next week, where we talk about what this means for dreams. Paradigm 3 brings all sorts of implications for dreaming. In fact, dreaming is one of the key places to get our awareness. So, if you’ve connected the dots thus far, you might just see how a Paradigm 2 person might not be able to get Paradigm 1 awareness from their dreams…because they’ve conditioned themselves to not see the sometimes troubling truth that only Paradigm 1 realists can see.

We’ll talk about all that, especially how to unleash the power of both sides, all in one powerful person.

Incidentally, these same concepts can unlock creativity, life satisfaction, find your mission in life, and much more. But now I’m out of time. Gotta go…have a great weekend, and Happy Father’s day to all you daddies!
