Rating threads? I played with the thing to see if it worked.

To "rate a thread or comment" is giving a person reputation points. Nanny that is how you got a reputation of 286. Someone that gets lots of rating for their post rises in reputation and lets others know that they post interesting stuff and comments. Then you can know who's work is liked.

I wasn't sure either, so poked around a bit last night and found a wealth of info on other topics, but not that. Will let Eagle know at some point that should be made more clear with new members (and everyone else who was blissfully unaware ). I'll add it to the website list for when he resurfaces from his studies.
