Our non-Proj Aug Headline #7 said: “Gold market falters again. Slides in intraday trading.”
We have our fulfillment here, but the question still remains…is this it? Recall that the linguistics was much more ominous than our predictions, and it got a lot of people worried. The timing on it was roughly one month, probably diminishing likelihood after about August 31st. When reviewing the news, remember what the lingo phrase said:
“Finished gold bar system known acting crash totally”
Gold hasn’t crashed (yet)
Gold price plunges to 3-week low of Rs 28,280 per 10 grams
PRECIOUS-Gold hits 2-month low as dollar gets boost from Fed
Gold extends losing streak, trades at 2-week low on strong dollar

This Week’s Lingo
Keep in mind that we had an additional linguistics overlap this week. We saw the phrase “General gold leg broken.” Plus, dreamers are still unusually fixated on gold. The number of hits is right about double its all-time average.
This is not to say that gold is surging like “Dallas,” though. Gold increased almost 70% from last week, but that’s not terribly unusual.
But if we combine this data (the fact that dreamers are in fact fixated on it, and the lingo has “crash” and “broken” two weeks in a row), then I’m personally expecting at least some substantial downside.
If we take the lingo literally…look out. I’m not willing to do that just yet, simply because the gold word isn’t fitting our definition of “surge.”
We’ll keep an eye on it, just like everyone else…
The Bigger Picture
Probably the bigger news here is that this latest gold fulfillment gives us a direct hit on our non-Proj Aug headlines, which puts us at a whopping 91% success rate. AND we’re not looking at a paltry correlation score either. Our average for all scores is 4.3 out of 5, which is pretty amazing, at least to me.
From here on out, we’ll be transitioning to a 3-score system. The 3 numbers represent WHAT-WHERE-WHEN and will look like this: 3-4-4 (for example). The highest score for each three numbers is 5 and they’ll be no decimal points. You can view the new scoring criteria here.
