I don't remember much of this particular dream.  What I do remember was there was a  serial shooter or shooters, attacking schools in the Los Angeles area.  There were many schools which had been targeted.  The shooters did not gain access to the inside of. the school but shot from the surrounding areas with assault style type weapons.  The last school they shot at was a private school called Harvard, a boys school.

Thoughts.
There actually was a boys school in Los Angeles called Harvard.  It combined several years ago with a girls school called Westlake and is now called Harvard-Westlake.  I knew the information before my dream.  I thought it odd that I would dream of the boys school Harvard, which makes me wonder if I should be paying attention to the other Harvard, the University in Cambridge.

I was attending a social event at an old, small church in Arizona. I think it was a pot luck. I started to feel a small rolling and shaking feeling and asked everyone to stop what they were doing. Some others noticed it now as well. As the rolling continued, gaining only a little bit of strength, I told everyone we were having an earthquake but the epicenter was likely not in Arizona, it likely was somewhere in California. I then said that if true, that for it to be felt in Arizona, it must be of a very large magnitude . As I am talking the quake continued. I started giving out information and yelling orders. We would need to gather supplies, food, water and first aid things to send over to our neighboring state as their would likely be devastation. I was figured we were experiencing a quake that felt like a low 4 on the Richter scale so depending upon where it was in California it could be a 7.2 or greater. We felt the quake for over a minute, that is an extremely long time.

Thoughts.
I used to live in Los Angeles and felt many quakes including the Northridge quake. The quake in my dream was longer than any quake I have felt. It is said that some people felt that quake all the way out in Phoenix during the Northridge quake bu the waves were mild but the time they travel to Phoenix and most didn't feel it in Phoenix. What they felt in AZ then was of a smaller strength than what I felt in the dream.
I had a brief discussion about earthquakes to a friend yesterday so there might be day residue. If I were to guess however, I would say California might be getting a quake in the near future.

This was the last layer of a multi layer dream.  
I am visiting with a friend who I haven't seen in awhile.  She takes me to a small upstairs room which has a very low angled ceiling.  In some places you have to bend down so you don't hit your head. It is clean, the walls are a peachy color and there are some shelves.  The room is empty except for her husband who is unpacking some boxes filled with books.   My friend tells me they are going to be opening a small library and will be having story time for kids.  I think -too bad it is a volunteer job, It would be fun to work here but have had enough volunteer jobs.  I am supposed to be looking for one that pays this time.  I  then think about going through the books in my house which could be donated to this little library.  I hope the kids will like coming here. Maybe I can come in and do story time sometimes.

The friends in this dream are real life friends.  In fact am meeting with her tomorrow for tea to get caught up.  In real life they own a ballet studio and do a lot of work with the community. In real life  I do a lot of volunteer work and am trying to figure out what new paid  job I want to do.

Couple of nights ago dreamed of a cat, grey stripe tabby. When I woke, first thougit was, Oh No I don't want another cat! I've been praying for the past two days that the cat won't find me. Today thank goodness I saw the cat and it was adopted by someone else.
