So the spouse was scheduled to fly out for a wedding. His departure time was 0915. We live approximately 30 miles from the airport. The airline suggested he be there an hour earl, 0830. That put our travel right at the later portion of commute time, which could add anywhere from 15 minutes to a half hour to the trip. I figured it was a good idea to leave NLT 0730, just to be safe and set my alarm to wake me at 0645.

I woke at 0745. My alarm didn't go off. I took a couple seconds to register that it was now well past the time I had planned for us to leave. Spouse's side of the bed was empty so I assumed he was up and getting ready. I vaulted from the bed to check.

Silly me. The man was in the kitchen, feeding the cats, still in the t-shirt and shorts he wore to bed. I asked, with what I thought was remarkable restraint, if he had showered yet. He said no. My remarkable restraint evaporated and I shrieked at him about his lack of getting his butt in gear since we were running way behind and asking why didn't he wake me. Oh, he tells me, he just woke up himself. What? He didn't set his alarm, too?

At this point, he simply scurried into the shower. I quickly threw on some clothes, the head of steam building right up to volcanic level.

We raced out of the house at 0820. Traffic moved, which was a good thing, and I dropped him off at 0850. I told him to get his boarding pass ready because he didn't have time to hunt around for it on his phone. I also pointed out he would have to hustle to make his flight.

I didn't hear from him after that-my phone died completely-so assumed he made the flight. Either that or he missed the flight and threw himself on the airline's mercy rather than face me when he knew it wouldn't take much for me to leave him at the airport.

I got a text from him informing me that his flight was delayed 20 minutes, so no problem with being close to departure time.

I swear that the universe loves that man and made sure he would make that flight.

Had the same dream repeating all night. I woke 3 times during the night and went back to the same dream.  

Dream: I am standing with a group of people. Someone who feels like a leader, is smiling and talking. He is saying, "now is the time to unite". I focused in on the people around us and noticed some of them had strange looking faces. Where the eyes are supposed to be, there was a flat surface like skin over the eye socket.  I asked what is happening here with these people. The leader said, they are blind, they chose not to see. He smiled pointing to one person saying, look what is happening. I looked and saw the skin disappear and their eyes opened.  I was curious about the process and walked closer to one of the people that still had the skin on their eyes.  I told the leader, I don't see any lash line, the skin is smooth. I then asked, so no surgery is required to open the eyes? He said, no they open on their own when the person is ready.  He went on to say, many eyes are being opened right now. I asked, are you talking about a militia? He just smiled and said, now is the time to unite. I looked at the people around me and see eyes opening. As each persons eyes opened, the leader would stand beside them beaming with positive feel good energy.  That is the only way I can explain it, positive/feel good/euphoric energy. The leader had a look of relief on his face each time a persons eyes were opened.

Afterthoughts: this was no "day residue" dream.  While writing this and remembering the dream, I have a very strong positive emotion running through my Spirit.

This was the last layer of a multi layer dream.
I was staying at a hotel in what appeared to be Vegas, though it looked different. It was a nice hotel and my friends had just left. I was now going to stay an overnight on my own. I noticed I had lost my room key so I went in search of the reception desk so I could get a duplicate. The first desk I went to directed me to a table/booth outside next to the hotel.
There were two young women working at the booth. I asked for a duplicate key and the first person began to ask me security questions to prove I was the actual guest, not a fraud. After answering each question, I would get another one to answer. Soon I realized there were pages and pages of questions I would need to answer. The other lady said to forget the questions and she would instead do a handprint scan on my hand. She did and I was given a key. In addition to the key I was given a ticket to very nice event they were having at the hotel. It was called "Carnival" and the ticket would allow me to see the evening festivity and fireworks but not eat the formal dinner.. The young lady said she was heading over to the event now and would show me where to go. I followed her through a doorway and up a few steps. She rounded a corner but I couldn't find her after I rounded the corner. I did see a long line, like you would find at Disneyland which winds through tunnels and rooms before you finally arrive at the ride you are in line for. There wasn't really anyone in the line, I just needed to follow the path to see where it led. Eventually It led to a house like building and up stairs to a room where some people were mingling. I followed more stairs up where there was a formal dinner going on with lobster and other gourmet food being served. My ticket apparently DID include dinner and I noticed that everyone was at the tail end of the meal. The server checked to see if the buffet was still open, but the workers were tearing it down. I didn't mind too much but would have loved to have eaten. Carnival was a show of some sort which had fireworks. You could see it from the rooftop, one floor above where I was standing. It was a limited engagement.
I then woke up.
Thoughts, I chose to post this dream mostly because of the Carnival reference. Carnival (Mari Gras)will be coming soon. I have not had Carnival on my mind and did not feel that the "show" was going to be a tradition "Carnival " theme.
I also thought perhaps it might help the dream bot if I posted.

In my dream I was at a baseball game on a warm day. A moose came running out of the woods and then stopped- it was tired from running. It was being chased by a coyote. The coyote also came out of the woods and stopped- but it was on the other side of the chain link fence of the baseball field. Everybody stopped to watch what was going to happen with these 2 animals. The coyote was pacing back and forth - trying to figure out how to get to the moose. I noticed the moose had 3 legs, but wasn't wounded- there was no visible blood. I was concerned and screamed "Someone call the Game Warden!" So the Game Warden showed up and said "I'm going to have to put the moose down. It has 3 legs and we don't want it creating any more 3-legged moose down here." I was angry thinking to myself, "he just wants to eat the moose or sell it."

So anyway, I am on the Gulf coast where there are a lot of deer but no moose. The moose must have migrated South.
