a very long dream and much does not reside in my brain right now..

anyway the part which woke me was,

we were the president was staying, trying to get a message to the president, writing it on the windows/mirror. We hid to escape being caught... some stayed to write the message.

I do not know if its a second dream or a continuation the same dream. but i returned to where my son was selling donuts with another to collect the leftover donuts. another two individuals came to do so and took what i hoped for before me. a confrontation ensued, i stood up for myself, left with my few donuts.. the one with the least followed me from one side of the massive hotel to the other. i complained to a manager on the other side of the hotel that they should be fired for not being at work on the other side. that irritated him.

I found a knife , carefully picked it up while walking to family and when surprise of my actions was certain, i put the knife to his throat and warned him to leave me alone. there were more details but in hind sight, it seems like rom my actions to acquire food that life/ the economy is hard/ a tough spot in the dream.

We were outside listening to the Great Horned Owl that lives on our property. (They also make a squawk noise in addition to the hooting). He was at the top of a pine tree, and you could see the silhouette of his ear tufts in the dusk.

Then we saw not one, but a pair of Eagles soar over our pond. Absolutely majestic.

I saw this news story from 2/18/2017 and it reminded me of my dream from 12/27/2015

No intentions set


Two separate dreams, the first more of a dreamlet than anything else.

1) I'm driving a silver with a blue stripe down the hood Mustang. In the dream, it was called an Elliot Mustang, after the NASCAR driver Bill Elliot. There's someone riding shotgun, a man I don't know but he knew me. I'm taking him into some city and we're cruising along a freeway. Neither of us are talking. I'm doing at least 80 but know this car is capable of way, way more speed if I need to put the pedal to the metal. Flashing lights behind me. Drat. Highway patrol. I signal, pull over to the shoulder. Cop comes up on the passenger side. My passenger tells me to behave. I say I had no intention of starting anything. He rolls down the window. Cop leans in and seems surprised to see me. He tells me he thought my son might be driving. No, I say, this is my car. I let my son drive it now and then, though. Cop scans the car. Shelby? he asks. No, I say, an Elliot. He chuckles and says, The poor man's Shelby. Yeah, I laugh, but I'm working up to a Shelby. He straightens. Tells me to keep my speed down to somewhere in the range of the limit and to be safe. I thank him. He leaves. Passenger eyes me, then shakes his head. Never fails to amaze me how you do that, he says.

2) In an old house. Other people are there. We're gathered for a big dinner. For some reason I think it's Thanksgiving dinner. I've provided the pumpkin pies. We gather around a big rough-hewn oak farm-type table. We're sitting on benches. The whole house feels very old. Big and drafty. Filled with stuff gathered over years. The benches are full. I don't know anyone at the table but they're all friendly and it's a pleasant meal. After dinner, I go into the kitchen to cut the pies and can only find one pie. I had brought three. I search for the other two pies but can't seem to find them. The hostess comes into the kitchen to ask if there's a problem. I tell her I can't find the other pies. Oh, she tells me, as she opens the freezer door, I put them in the freezer. She pulls out two pre-baked pie boxes. I blink, surprised, because I had made the pies from scratch. She tells me we'll heat them up in the oven and the pies will be good to go.

Jump to the same people are now clearing out that house. I'm helping. The owner now resembles an acquaintance with whom I haven't had contact in some time. There are no boxes so people are carrying items out one at a time. I comment that this would go much faster if there were boxes available. Everyone thinks that's funny. I sit down in a chair to take a break. The owner sits down in a chair opposite me. I tell her not having boxes is going to make this move a lot harder than it has to be. She agrees but shrugs and tells me that's how things go sometime. I don't reply. She looks at me and asks if I'm aware there's a demon standing behind me. I lean my head back and there's a heavyset woman dressed in a mid-19th century dress, dark hair pulled back in a tight bun. Hi, I say. The woman looks down at me. Her eyes glow. Hello, she says. So, I say, why are you here? She says, I'm here for you. Well, I say, I'm not going anywhere with you. She nods. I'm not surprised, she says. Now what? I say. I have no quarrel with you. And I have no quarrel with you, she says, I'm just doing as I was ordered. Well then, I say, where would you like to go? Home, she says. I nod. Okay, I say, since I have no quarrel with you, you're free to go home if you want. My, she says, you're quite understanding about all this. She heads towards the door, opens it, then looks back at me. Thank you, she says, and steps through the doorway. The owner says, Well. That was interesting. I just shrug.



Random thoughts:

These dreams just struck me as weird, even for me.

I do drive a Mustang GT, but it isn't silver and it isn't a Shelby(*snif* ). No idea who the guy riding shotgun might be.

Second time this week I've dreamed of dealing with a demon.

I am walking through a cement walkway just off of the highway overpass, I see my current real life rental car (Gray mustang Convertable) turned upside down and leaning against another car. Everything with both cars is completely destroyed, they look like they were dropped from an airplane. I have a memory of driving the car and getting into an accident as I look over the damage.

I go over to a make-shift house made of old wooden roofing tiles, and I slide into the hidden door. On the outside, this house looks like part of the woods. On the inside, there are brick walls and a fireplace but no roof. It begins to rain and I am trying desperately to keep my five children dry. My husband walks out the door (he is divorcing me)... I would like to note here that this part of the dream does not match my real life, so this part is someone else's life.

I was trying to shake this dream really hard after waking up because I woke up late and had meetings all day today. I was extra careful when driving due to the rain because of this dream.

Upon getting onto the freeway to head out to my last client meeting there on the side of the onramp is a gray ford mustang convertible flipped upside down on top of a blue car, and both cars landed on a homeless encampment that was on the side of the road. I am gonna go watch the news now and see if there were children hurt in this accident today.

It’s been a while since I’ve remembered a dream. This one is another code theme. There were several people in the dream so I gave them fictitious names to keep the telling a little shorter. The dream takes place in the home of one of my co-workers. In waking life I’ve never been to her home.

Co-worker: Susan
Co-workers sister: Ann
Co-workers boy child: Steve
Co-workers girl child: Becky
Lead perpetrator: Stanley - spy comes to mind when I think about Stan.
2nd perpetrator: Philip - he would follow orders even if it meant his death.
Cult leader: Joshua - he is in this for the power and money.
Cult member: Miranda - she is not sure she wants to stay in the cult.

I find myself in front yard of the home of Susan. I look around at the country side and see the homes are far apart, like each is on 3+ acres of land. I know the property next door is a cult and see people walking around. I walk into Susan's house and see two men I don’t think should be there. Susan is at work and her sister Ann is child sitting Susan’s two children Steve and Becky.

I look around the room and see two men that look very serious. The lead guy Stan asks me, “what is the code”. I tell him, “I don’t know where it is”. He says, “what is the code”. I say, “I don’t know the code, maybe I should call Susan and ask her”. My thoughts right now are, I will call Susan and ask her the code to get in Reyna's bedroom. Reyna is her deceased dog so that should clue her in that something is wrong at her house and she will call the police. I pick up a phone and notice that Stan is holding a phone too and will listen to my conversation with Susan. I am now scared about what Susan will say. When I call I’m told that she is not at her desk. I hang up the phone.

I don’t like Stan and Philip because they would kill to get what they want. They are not honorable and what they are doing is all about money, the money they will make if they get the code. They will kill us all once they get the code.

Ann walks to the door with Steve and Becky. She tells Stan she is going outside to walk the children. Stan gets up to stop her and she says, “now where can I run with two children, we won’t get far before you catch us”. She walks outside with the children. There is a work/utility truck in the driveway and Ann opens the door and the children get inside. She jumps in after them and drives off. I am so happy they are able to get away and hope she gets help soon.

Stan is furious and Stan, Philip and I walk outside. Then I notice it’s getting dark out and when I look across the street there are group of people there. We walk over and see that it’s the people from the Cult. They said they decided to occupy this property instead of where they were before. I am thinking this is perfect, I will be able to get away with so many people around.

Next I am talking with a dark haired woman named Miranda and we are walking along the side of the road. I ask her if she has a car and she says yes pointing to a white car. I tell her I need to leave and need her car. She says she is thinking about leaving the cult. I tell her I will drive if she gives me the keys. She takes them out of her pocket and then I hear Philip behind me saying, “where do you think you are going?”

Dang, Philip is watching me, now what will I do? I say, “we are just out for a walk, we’re going back”. At this point I look across the street and see a trailer park. There are two men hooking a boat up to a truck. They look at us and ask if we are ok and do we need help. I said, “no, we are just out for a walk.” He said, “ok then, let me know if you need anything”.

We walk back to the group of cult people and they are doing some kind of prayer dance. Then I notice 5 or 6 people dressed in SWAT outfits. I am so happy they have arrived. Then I realize that I am the only one that knows they are SWAT. To everyone else, they see them as dressed in plain clothes. I get close to the SWAT leader and he says, we need to get both the cult leaders and the perpetrators who kept you captive. This won’t take long, just act like you don’t know who we are. End of Dream
