I woke up (in dream) and it was light out. My window was open with the screen missing but I decided I didn't care because the weather was so nice. I looked at the clock and saw 1:50AM. The sky was like bright twilight and a bunch of people were puttering around outside totally confused. Some kids were playing softball or something. Someone was yelling a warning to get inside. It felt like there was no power except my clock.

Dream occurred in 2005

Night Clouds

I was standing on a street corner on a crumbly section of sidewalk not far from where I live. It was the middle of the night, dead silent, no stars, no moon. No traffic and the only street light was the copper colored one I was standing under. Several buildings nearby seemed abandoned and weedy. The clock at the bank down the street said 1:50AM.

Across the street to my left was a drug store, across directly ahead of me was a restaurant, and my father's ghost was leaning on the crosswalk post just chilling.

Ghostdad turned to me and said "You shouldn't be out here" and pointed down the street. "Go home. Get inside". I looked down the street and in the distance was this weird greenish cloud thing. I crossed the street and went into the drug store which morphed into a restaurant. I ordered a beer and a carrot cake.

Why this bothers me:
-The street light was a white-purplish mercury lamp at the time of this dream but is now a coppery sodium lamp.
-The drugstore was a large restaurant but has since become a CVS.
-The restaurant across the street directly ahead was a Blockbuster Video. It became a small restaurant run by the same dude that ran the one that was replaced by CVS.
-The section of sidewalk I was standing on is now crumbling and usually smothered in weeds. The two houses on that corner had been abandoned and were recently demolished.
-My dad didn't finish drinking his stupid self to death until 2012. This dream happened in 2005.

In this dream, I found myself visiting a 3 rd world factory of some sort. In the dream, I was going to use the restroom, but it was so disgusting that it was impossible to use it. There were feces all over the place including the walls and floors, and it looked like neither of the two stalls I looked at were able to flush.

I left the restroom and was given two ticket stubs of some sort upon which $200 was written on one of the lines. I"m not sure if one of the tickets said Billy Joel on the top line, but it seemed like there was the name of a musician. I felt like the factory was a textile mill with children working there. The conditions were awful.

Next, I found myself in a fancy restaurant. It was located in a very wealthy area of town and I think it was named "Your Back Yard" or "Our Back Yard". It could also have been "My Back Yard" but definitely "XXX Back Yard". It had a nice entrance, and stairs going up to the left, beyond which you could see fields of grass. There was a ground level dining area as well, but we went up the stairs where the better views were. We sat down and were served some very fancy meals that I think were lamb? The meat was arranged to form a three sided pyramid, and the vegetables were arranged in a fancy design. This was like food sculpture.

After we ate, I next found myself entering the home of a wealthy family. I was wondering about removing my shoes since I didn"t want to soil the floor at all. At the far end of the room was a seated man (husband) and to his left (my right) was an older gentleman with grey hair sitting in a lounge chair. To my left was a bench along a wall then an opening to a kitchen.

Apparently, the family was in their 1 st week of living in the house and the wife felt it necessary to call their organization in order to see if we (me and one other person) had to pay in order to be there? From what I gathered, they belonged to a members only organization that required guests to pay a visitors fee. The old man tried to tell the wife that no fee was required because that rule only applied to a meeting where an extra plate or meal was required for a guest.
Since he was a member for a long time, he knew the rules. He explained that since he was in their home and is a member, that would be considered a meeting, but since there was no food being served, we would not have to pay $36 each to attend the meeting. Nonetheless, the wife was in the kitchen using a wall phone to call someone.
The husband ignored the wife and stood up to greet us. He was accommodating and asked us to have a seat. We talked about how they had just moved in, and where they had come from and other such niceties.
Eventually, we went outside to look at the beautiful lawn and talked about the exclusive restaurant where we"d just dined.
Before I knew it, I was flying over the mostly green but patches of brown rolling hills. I was flying freely and landing from time to time before shooting back into the air. I felt like this was a new ability of mine (to be able to fly at will) and I was there to show my skill and not be intimidated by the wealthy people. They were no better than me, in fact, I was amazing.

I also felt like maybe these people were the owners or management of that squalid factory. I got the sense that they were enjoying this luxury of the backs of many.

In this dream, I am holding a large mechanism that looks like it"s a camera/sound system but is really a weapon. In the dream, I"m being told that this is going to be a one take shoot, and that I had better make sure that everything was set up perfectly because we"d only get one shot. I was working with another guy who knew this was a weapon, but I didn"t know it was a weapon. I wasn"t sure of what was actually happening.

The camera had a rotating antennae grid, dials and ports, view finder and Mic jack on a pedestal.
Anyway, in the dream, the action is about to start Yet I"m still fumbling to put the phone jack of a white cord into the camera. The guy is worried I"m not going to be ready, but I double check the right hole and insert it.
Next, I"m looking through the view finder and I"m asked to position it near some crates.

The partner presses a button and a projectile shoots out of the camera weapon and there"s a big explosion. The other man shouts at us. The next thing I know, my partner and I are being drafted into a military unit 1 st and 2 nd . Not everyone was being
drafted, we were being punished. I said, "We wanted to be drafted?"
He said, "Yeah, there was no other way we"d have gotten out of here."

In this dream, I'm helping to man a booth on a highway. It's not a toll booth so maybe it's a weigh station?

In the dream, I'm working at night when some women enter the office. I think they are there to relieve me. Both of them are somewhat overweight and wearing black pants that are too tight. They put their purses on the table and start taking off coats and scarfs so it seems like its fall.

A weird element is that they have a small ball like creature that has a lot of hair and a blonde beard. I'd say the creature is 8"diameter and seems to be very old. Honestly it looks like a living coconut.

In the dream, I over hear people talking about me and saying that I'm an engineer and that I'm really smart. I get the feeling people are wondering why I have this low level job? In my mind, I think I'm only filling in because there was nobody else to cover that night shift. Before I leave, I find myself investigating the building and pointing out things that should be repaired.

Follow up 07312014
Later in the day after I had this dream, I was invited to a meeting in a different building from where my office is. I arrived, and the room was occupied, and the presenter had not yet arrived. I approached a group of co-workers waiting in the hall, and they said, "

This was a fairly short dream and not very detailed.I was sent to India to save elephants from a highly virulent threat. It seemed to be some sort of disease, but man-made and human delivered. In the middle of that mission, I was sent to Alaska to preserve dogs, which were believed to hold the key to human-animal communication.
Dream ends.

The dream started when I jumped on a large balcony and as I look around Obama is right infront of me sitting in a chair in a corner of the balcony with his head down showing no emotion at all surrounded by angry protestors babbling. That is when I started walking very fast towards Obama got right in his face and shout to him with emotion "GET OUT OF HERE" or something similar to that. The crowd heard and I they to started shouting after me to Obama "Get out of here" it seemed to have an effect because the next thing I know emotionless Obama got up with like the most robotic look on his face and just walked by everyone to go inside the building to somewhere. for some reason something felt really wrong so I left and started watching the buildings entrance from a distance. The next think I know I see like 3 people come out of the building with guns looking to harm people. I started looking for a place to hide or just not be seen by them, it looked liked they were searching for something or someone and the next thing I remember about that is somehow getting seen by them , I later escaped in a car later to find my friend CJ, in the dream he felt like he was of like vibration to me, like he was kind of like me with my thinking and so forth which in real life not even close well that I know of. My dream was a little fuzzy but when I met up with CJ we came in contact what looked like a reptilian just on the streets roaming! We took the warrior reptilian down and found a alien artifiact that fell in the sewer drain after we killed him. Once we recovered it we both said it looked like a reptilian skull, it had the horns and everything. We immediately started racing to find someone who knew about stuff like this so they could expose it to the world. It seemed like we jad a duty to make sure this information got out so the whole world could know. On our way there I had told Cj about a previous time when I had try to expose something but failed. Our search then lead us to this portal that when we went through looked like the inside of a yellow slide which took us to what looked like my old highschoool but different. It's weird because just before I even fell asleep I was thinking about my highschool0_0 We started looking for someone I dont know who then one of the princples came outside yelling at CJ telling him to get off the property because he no longer atteneds this school. He showed her some paper and said he was waiting to be picked up by someone so she would get off his back. After that Cj told me somebody we could trust to tell tat knew about this kind of stuff it was sum dude he knew but we were having trouble finding him in this crowd that was at the highschool, it was like they were all having a party outside blind to what was going on in the world, I even waved at one of my friend girls that goes there and it was like I was invisble to her, I saw alot of people who went to my highschool there to. But the dream ended when we got close to the person we were loooking for.. I got woken up by my little cousin.

Most of my dream was a bunch of nonsense dealing with some teenagers, and me being back in school. However, there was a chunk of my dream that stood out. There was a part of my dream where I remember I was watching some sort of news broadcast. There was a female reporter, and she was talking about a massive, almost week-long sandstorm that was affecting either Africa, or the Middle East. She was talking about how it was a historic event, and there was a huge probability that there were going to be mass casualties, due to planes being grounded, and emergency workers unable to see to rescue people that needed help. I didn't get a date. The whole thing was kinda sudden and vage.

7-31-2014
I am a foreman of a construction team working at LaGuardia Airport. Its fall, we had just returned from lunch break.
I am stirring paint in a 5gal bucket and I am checking the crew as they return on site to be sure they all have their hard hats on so we don"t get a fine. I look up as they are going by and I notice one of the guys don"t have a hard hat on. I stop what I am doing so I can tell him to get his hard hat on and when I look back up at him I recognizes him as one of the most wanted on a list of terrorist. I then woke up. When I woke up I was feeling the need to stop this person. Felt like a doomsday was coming.

Just woke from a dream this morning, 7/31/2014, where I was driving on a road near where I live (I Live in S. Louisiana). There was an earthquake & ahead of me in the road I saw the pavement crack open and saw lava but it did not pour out of the crack. It was just below the surface.
I made a very quick U-Turn and drove to the nearest Police Station. I ran into the building to tell them about the crack in the road. They were not concerned and asked me what agency I was with. They then asked if I was with the CIA. I told them no, that I was not with an agency and again I tried to tell them about the crack in the road. They gave me a cell phone and told me to call them if I saw anymore. They did not seem concerned.
I left there and went back to where I saw the crack in the road. It had closed up somewhat and the lava was not visable. I drove back home and called a relative that lives about 10 miles from me. She said that yes, cracks were popping in different parts of town.
I woke from this dream as I was trying to decide what to pack and thinking about the best way to leave the area.
Note: I have not read about or watched anything recently about Earthquakes.
