Rush sought me out and picked me up to take me on a trip. It was a red compact with the driver's door nearly falling off its hinges with old coins on the floor board; mercury dimes, indian head pennies and the such. He took me to Alaska and let me know he needed my access to a military base. He dropped me off at a movie theater and told me he would pick me up after the movie. When I came out he met me and told me his car had been stolen, however, he quickly found it somehow without calling the police. He told me we would be staying with friends of his, if I didn't mind.We went up an outside staircase and walked in without knocking. I thought that was strange. In the room were two queen beds, one Rush quickly claimed and told me the other one was mine. There were also three other beds in this large open room. There were three women; one Asian, one Mexican, and one Caucasian. There were no beverages and no food, but we talked about the recent disaster in Alaska and the ramifications of the political response.Then I was called away to Virginia, to consult with the CIA on Alaska, but then found myself being chased by the sheriff who were firing at me. I tried to hide. I went deep into the under brush of the woods and covered myself with mud. They searched for several hours, traveling close by my location several times. All the while, I was racing through my memory as to why they were chasing & shooting at me.Finally, they got a dog to find me and dragged me out by the heels, my face and body covered with mud. TV cameras caught the activity and my thought was "This is an episode of 'Cops' so they will tell me what this is all about." The deputy said he knew what I was thinking and told me it was not "Cops." I was going to a jail where no one could find me.I was taken to a room, where two deputies threw me to the ground hand-cuffed and gagged. They sprayed me off with a fire hose. I felt like I was drowning. They started to kick me and I began to bleed profusely. Dream ends.

Phone rang at 3:00 in the morning. I was in my parent's house but they were not home. My husband answered thinking it was a call he was expecting. Someone in his family was traveling and were to call when they boarded a bus and that the most dangerous part of the trip was over.

I was about to take our dog out back right before the ring. It was a recruiter for my job field. He said he didn't understand why I wasn't paid more for my previous jobs. I told him that is all they would pay and I didn't have luck with any interviews. I told him there was little demand for life science and chemistry majors.

He gave a cheesy motivational speech. "Do you want to make so little for ever? It doesn't matter what education anyone has, if it is right and valuable then it is right and valuable. Didn't you pay and study to learn what you learned? The right information is powerful."

The job was for a sanitary technician. Probably ensuring the safety and documentation of procedures of a water or waste water processing plant.

I thought he was an employment coach and not a recruiter. I wasn't in the mood to be sold something of no value.

Even though it was night it was very dark for being in a suburb. None of the neighbors or streets had any light on. There were not moon or stars. The lights in the house were not the normal lights but something more like night lights which I don't use unless there is overnight company.

I used the landline phone rather than the cordless which is normally used. The old phone is just kept for a backup or power outages.

In this dream, I"m bitten 3 times by a red colored (non-poisonous) snake. First, the snake bit me on my right hand near one of the knuckles. In the dream it swelled up and spewed puss from the two fang marks. The second bite I had was on my left elbow. The third bite was on one of my feet. There was a lot of pain from the bites, but I knew they wouldn"t be fatal. In the dream, the snake lunged at me quickly and bit me two times in rapid succession. The third bite came a little later as I was checking the first two wounds.
For some reason I had a cardboard cut-out of a red snake and I suspected that the snake thought I was hurting the cardboard snake and it was defending it. In the dream, I referred to it as a red corn snake.
When the swelling got large, I decided to go to the hospital. There was an element where I used the cardboard cut-out to lure the snake out from under a bed and I captured it. I started to rub its head as if it was a pet dog.

This dream happened after I slipped back into sleep after my alarm went off I was probably asleep 10-15 minutes .
It starts in a park on the Main Street of a medium/small town . My dad is driving my moms Prius in a the park with me and my sister and our dog squeegee and we pulled over probably to eat or park. There was a hill behind to the right of us and my dad said "looks likes that mans doing something" I look over excepting to see someone at work on construction and see people walking up over the hill . One guy looking like he has a black thing rising that looked like big black shoulder pads or something. Then It keeps coming over the hill and I see it's a big red and black metal robot that is almost like out of Lego world, very simple. I say " that looks like a big machine or something! " and we start pulling away out of the park, away from it as I watch behind us there are police cars gathering around it. The robot is as tall as a house and stands on the top of the hill in the park. We are driving very fast now straight away from the park on a highway. Everybody is driving the same way as us and driving very fast to get away from the robot. We are going something like 100 mph when my dad yells , we have to get away from the eye!! . Then the ground shakes as a blue dome comes rushing out from the city and grows as my mom screams and we are enveloped in blackness. Then I just have a really curious moment of wondering what happens after death , do I just disappear or can consciousness keep going? how am I thinking right now if I'm dead? Then I woke up

I am driving on a familiar busy boulevard at dusk. I get the feeling of a flash of light behind me (south, Detroit area but could have been further away than that because the light was not very noticeable since I was focused on driving) and my car rolls to a stop - no power. I begin feeling a "vibration" coming over me and become dizzy and slightly disoriented. Then I suddenly am aware of my situation and feel that I'd better get my car off the road for safety reasons when I notice all the other cars have stopped in their tracks too, so I am in no danger of a car hitting me. It is still light enough that electric light is not needed but I am aware that the lights have gone off from store signs and street lights. Some people are getting out of their cars but many are not and it is eerily calm. I feel myself passing out from the dizzy feeling but I am not panicked...even though I feel that the power will not be coming back on. I know I am just a mile from home so I can walk there from where I am once I wake up from passing out...it's as if I know it will be fleeting. I am calm as I let myself pass out--then I wake up from the dream. It felt so real via all my senses and has stuck with me for almost a year.

In this dream, my mother and father (deceased) have gone away on a vacation. While they are gone, I decide to buy a new car even though I"m already driving a relatively new car. I"m in a Ford dealership and I write a check for a down payment on a Black Ford. It"s one that has to be ordered so I drive away in my current car. In real life, I drive a 2011 Silver Nissan Sentra, but in the dream I"m driving a black car. During the dream, I"m wondering why I would buy a second black car? I rationalize that it must be so that I can loan my car out, or so that I can have a spare. I wonder if I can afford a second car and think about the 3 day rule of returning a car. I"m experiencing buyer"s remorse. I wonder if I"ll lose my deposit?
The next element is that I find myself in a courtyard of apartment buildings. There is a group of people (maybe 12 of them) scattered evenly around the large courtyard. They are acting out Bible passages. The courtyard is so big that I can barely see the two speakers at the far end of the courtyard. The actors are walking around reading out loud from the Bible, and acting out a passage. I noted how each of the actors would pace around constantly even when not reading. I felt like I was a new participant with no speaking parts. There were some large trees scattered near the buildings but none in the center on a sunny day. Suddenly, there was a commotion and all eyes turned to the sky. I saw a swarm of something (Black Insects?) moving from my left to my right at the speed of a swallow and they zoomed into an actor"s body a-la the "Green Mile" and the person started to writhe on the ground. The actor was to my right.
Moments later, another swarm did the same to me and I fell down. I could feel them moving inside my lungs but I did get up again. I found myself talking to a doctor and commenting that maybe I was attacked because I had been a smoker? But there were other smokers present and not attacked. The doctor asked me how I felt, and I told him I still had those things inside me. Maybe I wasn"t worthy to be an actor in one of those religious readings?
Another dream element was when I was being told my name was "NASH". I told him (the doctor?) that my last name was Montalvo, not Nash. Then he said that was my Spanish name. My real name is "Nash". I then recall him thanking me for helping him to realize his real name was "Henderson" or "Hamilton".
The next thing I know, both of my parents are back from vacation and I"m wondering how I"m going to tell them about the attack, the car, the real name? I"m again thinking about the 3 day rule and wondering if I should back out of the deal for the black Ford? One less news to break to them. That"s when I awoke.

In this dream, it was Christmas time. My Christmases have been pretty cruddy the last several years because I don't really get to spend it with my family, but I make it a huge deal by throwing a giant party every year for my husband's family and our boys. I count pennies every year to put together activities for all the kids who come over and a Thanksgiving-like feast for everyone... after all, we are celebrating the birth of Christ, so I give my very best on this day, and my second best on Easter Sunday.

In the dream, my husband was forcing me to go to the mall. He wanted me to buy things for myself for a change. He's done this before to only have me come back with Christmas gifts for him, so in the dream, he had already made arrangements for me to enjoy different activities. He had brought some of my homemade medicines and canned foods with him in a bag and had planned to barter for my gifts. I thought it was so that I wouldn't feel guilty about having money spent on me.

As we walked around in the mall, I started to get a bad feeling. When you go into the mall, people are usually running around window shopping or talking to one another oblivious as to what is going on outside of their conversation... but in the dream, people were eyeing one another and there was a heavy tension in the air. It made me a bit uncomfortable, but I tried my best to ignore it. My husband had me look at jewelry and shoes, but in all honesty, I am not a jewelry or shoe girl. What I really wanted was some new software. I had studied animation and programing before I became a mother with the intent on building clean, educational games for children... but for some reason, that seemed impossible now. Computers were worthless and in the dream, what I really wanted was seeds. Lots and lots of seeds.

We went from store to store looking for seeds, but I doubted very much that a mall would have them. I wasn't upset though, to be honest, it was nice to have my husband to myself for a change and have him try so hard to make me happy. It was cute.

After running around for some time, I noticed lots of people flooding into the mall. They did not look happy. They were glaring at one another and staring hard at each other as if they were sizing one another up. Then chaos broke out as the people who looked less fortunate started to attack those who looked as if they were well off.

There were only a couple of attacks at first. I had gotten scared by this and told my husband we needed to leave ASAP. But he looked at his watch and said that he didn't want to leave just yet, he had made arrangements for me to do something fun.

We walked into some sort of room and were attacked from behind by a man who looked (and smelled) as if he were homeless, but I got the feeling he was not. Something had happened and he was down on his luck and felt like he needed to steal Christmas presents. He mistook our bag of medicines and food for presents, but once he learned what was in there, it was as if it had become even more valuable, and he wrestled my husband to the ground over it. I felt sorry for him, and asked him if he would stop if I gave him some medicine and a jar of preserves, but that was not good enough for him... he wanted it all. He was starting to hurt my husband now, so I grabbed some sort of wooden stick that was on the ground and got after him.

I felt horrible that I had to do what I did... but he left me very little choice. He was only knocked out, so I left a jar of medicine by is head (which I'm sure was now aching) and watched as my husband dusted himself off. He still did not want to go home, so I followed him through another door.

We walked outside through a heavy-duty back door. There was a HUGE adult bouncy house shaped like a ship... and it was even roughly the size of a ship! I wondered for a second why he would go through so much trouble to have me play in a bouncy house of all things... but, I mean, BOUNCY HOUSE! I could probably count the times I have ever been in a bouncy house on one hand, also, I wasn't going to waste this gift my husband had worked so hard on. He seemed awfully proud of having rented it for me, so I put on my biggest smile and climbed in bouncing my way to the top. Once at the top, I smiled and waved at him every time I bounced high enough to see over the edge of the ship. It's not everyday a husband gives his wife the feeling of being a kid again. This was a precious gift!

Unfortunately, I didn't get to enjoy this feeling for very long. A crowd of people came in from my right and started cutting the ship which caused it to deflate. It would have been unwise for me to go through the ship while it was deflating, so I had no choice but to stand at the top and avoid the pieces that were trying to fall over on top of me. I did not want to be smothered to death by tons of plastic.

Once I was low enough to the ground, I jumped ship and met my husband and we then ran inside together.

Things were now even worse inside the mall. It was like a war in there. People fighting people for Christmas presents, food, and miscellaneous things. It ruined Christmas because it defiled everything it was meant to represent. I felt like if people talked to one another and asked for help, they would get it... but the kicker was that the attackers were in a panic for some reason. They would not calm down and see reason, I knew this because I tried to talk to a few, but nothing I said seemed to matter.

I was very upset that I could not help the situation... and it didn't take long for my husband and I to be noticed and attacked. We ran room to room looking for an escape, but had a very hard time finding a way out of the mall for some reason. Eventually, we were separated and I was cornered by a very aggressive woman in one room. She tried to attack me over and over again, refusing to listen to reason. After a while, others joined her and had me pinned to a wall while they raided my pockets and stole some of my clothes. But, as luck would have it, they were caught off guard as the room started to deflate over them. As the room deflated, the ceiling caved in, knocking metal beams and lights from overhead down on us. I was able to escape, but the aggressive woman had managed to dodge everything and came after me.

I met up with my husband again outside of the room. The entire mall was deflating... and some of the crashing lights had set fire to it, so it was also burning all around us. The smoke was very chemically and was burning our eyes and noses. It was all we could do to get out of there alive... but we had somehow managed to hang onto our bag of goods.

Once outside, we could breathe, but the woman still chased after me. Now she was even threatening to kill me. As I ran, some cops caught her. They were rounding up people by the hundreds - all of the less fortunate that had been attacking people in the mall. And while the people certainly had it coming to them, I was not angry at them at all. Even as that vile woman screamed profanities at me while the cops dragged her away, I felt sorry for her. I imagined that she had children and was hungry. I thought of them not having food or clothes, let alone Christmas presents, and I wanted to cry... but she had done the wrong thing by attacking us. I would have happily shared what I could with her had she asked.

A dream that came in on May 19. This one is short.
I dreamed of standing in a street looking up at an apartment building made of brick and concrete and glass. A residence with several floors. It is dusk, almost night, and lights are on. It seems to be an urban area, and I'm standing on a hill next to the building. Suddenly the building explodes, blowing out rooms, doors, windows, and people. I see a little girl, looking like a doll, flying by. Someone tells me to look up and I see hundreds of black dots flying in the sky, way up high. I ask what are those and the person near me says "missiles." My dream ends.

(I had this dream May 17, typed it up meaning to send, but just found it again.)
My body is flying over an urban area, near an oil refinery, but houses and neighborhoods around it too. Then suddenly, I"m at a church nearby, white walls, lots of people, people getting out of cars going into church for church service, maybe it"s a Sunday. I am inside the church, which has a basement with extensive series of rooms and storage. Food storage, freezers, water. I"m in the basement hallway looking out a double glass door at the end of it, next to the parking lot.
Then suddenly, I see a nuclear explosion near the refinery, mushroom cloud, flash of light, the whole works, then the shock wave sweeps away everything outside, I see cars and people tumble and crushed and blow away, the people already in the church and most especially in the basement survive. Moving to the basement, I take stock of what is there, advise people to stay away from going outside. People do it anyway. Some people are in a panic. There"s no way to tell how much radiation contamination is outside and coming in. The doors are not secure, opening and shutting as people go out and back in. I talk with one lady emptying a freezer, sliding out trays of meat, we discuss how to preserve the thawing meat, racks of bacon. Maybe cook them? I"m thinking of dehydrating the meat.
Then I"m outside with several people, the sky is overcast, one man has a motorcycle and insists on leaving, he is distraught. No one can stop him. It begins to sprinkle, and I tell people to get inside as the rain will carry radiation particles in the clouds to the surface. I come to the conclusion that we can"t stay there, we"re going to have to leave the shelter very soon because of the radiation and I keep telling people that, but we will have to walk as there is no vehicle to take us anywhere. I don"t want to leave, but keep thinking we only have a few days to live. The desire to stay is quite powerful. The dream ends.
In the real world, there is a nuclear power plant in New Jersey across the river from an oil refinery in Delaware that I pass on my way to work every day. Maybe I"ve been thinking about it too much.

a recuring dream , had about ten of these around the time of the tsunami's. dreaming about anything and this immage inserts itself into the dream. i look up and see a huge wave rise up off a normal ocean like the waves they surf on in hawaii, no white cap just a massive wave rising up so fast and impossibly huge. this dream was on the 26th july. this dream i was standing in a random hallway, doing what i dont remember. i look to the end for some reason and the end of the hallway now looks out towards a coastline and the wave just starts rising in the distance maybe a mile or two away.
