My colleagues from work and I were being held in a woodworking shop by a team of criminals who expected some sort of result before they would release us. I cannot recall the identities of any of the people from work, except that I was expected to take particular care of a woman in her 30's, called Ruth. One of them had prepared for me a piece of 1 x 3 board, which I was expected to break over the head of one of the criminals. The board had been grooved in such a way that it would break easily when I bashed the man on the head with it. My friends thought I wouldn't hit him hard enough, if I thought I might kill him.

The man I was supposed to hit was Japanese, with hair starting to get gray, so I presumed he was in his 40's. He was slightly-built, probably 5'6" tall, of stern demeanor and not talkative. Two of his henchmen were taller men, who appeared to be in their 30's, identified by my friends as "the Jamaicans" (though they looked hispanic and not Jamaican to me.) I was not expected to attack the Jamaicans; other men intended to fight them.

I realized fighting was about to start, but I was unable to find the Japanese man in the cluttered workshop, nor was I able to locate Ruth, to protect her. I don't recall if I expected outside help to arrive, and I was more concerned with my failure to attack, or to protect.

The predominant color in my surroundings was unfinished wood.

Music was playing in the room; after I woke up, I recognized the tune as "Old Joe Clarke" but later determined that the tune was actually "Clap Your Hands." (It had no significance in the proceedings, but it was a memorable detail.)

Make Peace, Not Pieces

I am a volunteer for a protest organization that has the slogan "Make peace, not pieces." The head office is bright and cheery because of a bank of windows along the outside wall. There is another person there but I only see a shadow sitting at a table. There is a poster already made that has a number of overlapping pieces of paper shaped like toilet seats. Each seat is either grey or white with the slogan printed on each and around the poster border.

I do not claim to be the sort of advanced dreamer that you described on the Coast to Coast show (where I heard of your website). Last night, I attempted to dream using the advice given on this site. I am not sure that it worked...

I dreamt that a large group of men had kidnapped me. I refused to bow to them and was captured and dragged out of my home. In my front yard they laughed at me. They told me that they would rape me, then kill me for being unfaithful to my husband, as if I would have a choice in the matter. (I was to be killed BECAUSE they raped me) They said they were going to "stone" me to death and possibly take my head. That is all I remember.

I am sorry if this is too graphic and not what you are looking for... I wish it had been about a toothbrush.

In this dream, I was lying down to take a nap with my toddler. I had just gotten him to sleep and was about to doze off myself when I heard this weird buzzing/clicking noise outside. I peeked through my blinds to see some kind of weird, white flying box. It was going up and down every inch of my house making those clicking noises... I assumed, for whatever reason, that it was filming or taking photos of every inch of my home. Horrified, I ran into the play room where my other boys were sleeping. I could hear the clicking getting closer and my boys had torn the end of one of the blinds off, allowing the inside of the house to be viewed. While I didn't really have anything to hide, this machine did not give me a good feeling and I had not given permission for every inch of my home to be monitored... so as the box made its way from the top of the roof to my boy's window, I waited and then quickly punched through the glass and snatched the thing clean out of the sky. My first thought was "Oh crud! This is probably billions of dollars worth of government property!" Then noticed a tiny Google logo on the side... And decided, in all my wisdom, that the best thing to do would be to rip the guts out of it. So I did. After tearing the guts out, I wrapped up my shredded, bloody hand in gauze and I heard the doorbell. My parents had come to visit. I told them what I had done, and my father just laughed uncontrollably. My mother on the other hand looked a bit concerned. I asked if she thought that the data it took was stored inside or automatically sent to a database. After a minute, she said it was probably stored inside, but I got the impression that she was trying to make me feel a bit better. I decided to bury the thing several miles away and hoped that the last photos it took were not of my face...

Early morning May 11th, 2014, shortly before I woke, I had one of the strangest and most vivid dreams I ever remember having. So much so, that it is still on my mind right now. I dreamed I, and some other male counterpart, of whom I was not particularly fond, were in a foreign land on some sort of "mission" that was to last 6 weeks, and as we were begun to be shown around the countryside, we encountered a long T shaped, cul de sac that had 7 different Christian churches on it all placed side by side like next door neighbors. It seemed so peculiar to me that they would be located that way because in America, in such a rural setting, they would not be located next to each other but spread over the small towns and countryside, that it piqued my interest. I recognized the Episcopal church by the architecture with the quatrefoils, etc., then I recognized and entered the Catholic chapel. When I did, I noticed all but the front 4 or so pews were missing and then it hit me hard that it was decommissioned and I instantly realized that all 7 of these churches had been moved there and were in effect, museum pieces, all decommissioned, no longer living, useful, or "

I was sitting in the middle of a bar and my family was on the right side of me and customers to the left. I looked out of the window and seen two baige missles flying in the air with some kind of writing on the side of them both.

I was traveling with my husband. Wherever we were, there was rumor of this small shed-like building being haunted by mummies. Hubby, being the more adventerous one thought it would be fun to check out... me, on the other hand, Iwas a bit frightened. I try to stay away from these kinds of things because I tend to be "followed". Hubby got his way and we went to see this haunted shed. It was on the outskirts of some sort of market place, like one you would expect to see in a third world country. We walked inside and hubby saw nothing... I, on the otherhand, looked off into the left side of the shed, and for the slightest second saw glowing eyes and what looked to be a mummy. I told hubby what I had seen, and tugged at his hand to leave... but he wanted to stay and look more. After haveing not seen anything after some time, he agreed to take me home.
It was nightime now. Hubby was asleep and I went into the kitchen to get some water. The livingroom was bare in this dream. When returning from the kitchen, I heard a voice. There, in the middle of the room, was a fancy red reclyner. In the middle of the reclyner was a mummy woman lying in fetus position. She was dried and stiff as a mummy would be expected to be, but she talked to me in my mind as she lay compleatly stiff.
She told me her name and that she had lived a very long time ago. She was a mother and the mummy I saw in the shed was her son and not her. At this point I was not afraid of her, and I sat on my couch to hear what she had to say. She told me that her life had not been perfect. She had been guilty of several crimes and many sins, one of which was the fact she had commited adultry. She explained to me what had happened when she died. She had expected to go to heaven or hell... but instead there were three "Glories" each with four "tiers". She told me that because of how she had lived she was now in the second glory on the third tier. She warned me to be careful not to make the same mistakes she had in her life and to warn others not to as well. She told me many things, most of which I was unable to remember once I awoke. She would tell me "I shouldn't be telling you this, but..." and then go on to tell me something so mind altering that I just know if I could remember it, it would change the world. In fact, when I think back on the dream, I can almost remember what she said, but then my brain just stops. Maybe it is beyond human comprehension, or I was not meant to remember it.
In spite of how grotesque you would think it would be to sit face to face with a mummy, it was rather pleasent. She was very kind, patient and informative and this is probably one of my favorite dreams. If only I could remember EVERYTHING she said...

(Let me just start by saying, In all the dreams I have EVER had in ALL my life, this was by far the weirdest. If ANYONE knows what to make of this, I am DYING to know what you think.)

In the dream, I came to sitting naked in my bathroom. There is a tub against the outside wall in my home, in the dream it was not there and the wall was gone as well. I sat naked looking outside where the wall should have been, watching my husband mow the lawn of all things. And when I realized what I was doing, I thought to myself "Why am I here? I'm sitting. I must need to pee?" Just as I thought that... I could feel that I clearly wasn't sitting on a potty. It was a solid slab of something. I felt the sides. It felt like stone. I popped up and looked in horror as I had been sitting on some kind of ancient looking alter. As I backed away, I could hear a sweet voice saying my name. I turned to see a woman in my bathroom door. When I say in, I do not mean in the doorway, I mean as if she was merged with the door... Or maybe she was some sort of hologram. I really can't be sure, but at any rate, she terrified me. She kept trying to calm me and to be honest, she really wasn't that scary to behold. I have seen and faced much more terrifying things in dreams and have never felt THIS horrified. She kept talking to me, but I really couldn't focus on what she was saying because I was just too freaked out. I did manage to gather from her that she was a servant of someone. She spelled a name out with letters in my mind, but I have since forgotten what it was. I wasn't able to pay much attention... Instead, I was trying to creep around her to escape through the crack in the door she was merged with. I made a break for the crack and was caught by two big blue arms. Whoever they belonged to was behind me. The arms wrapped around my chest but it was not in an intimate way. Suddenly I felt calm and warm. It was like having a nice hot bath at the end of the day and just as you start to feel too hot, there is a cool breeze. It was refreshing and nice... until I remembered that there were BLUE ARMS around me. At that point, I broke free and ran through the crack of the door.

I then found myself in bed, just as I were in real life. I looked at my newborn in his crib. My husband was sleeping at the edge of the bed and my toddler between us. I thought to myself "Well... that was a weird dream..." then laid my head down. I turned to my side facing the bedroom door and saw the same woman from earlier materialize into the door just as she had in the bathroom door. I tried to scream, but I could not. I tried to flail my arms to wake my husband, but I was paralyzed. All I could do was sit and listen to this woman in my door. She told me her name and that she was a servant to the blue-armed man I had seen in my bathroom. She gave me names again. She told me that I had managed to capture "their" attention and that they have and will be watching me and that I had gained their "favor". They would be coming soon, she said.

I wish I had been able to pay better attention as she said a lot of things which seemed to be important. But... I felt terrified in spite of her calm and sweet nature. She told me that I needed to look up " Nine Indian Gods".

After she told me that, I woke up. I looked around my bedroom. Everything was JUST as it was in my dream. My baby was sleeping in the crib. My husband at the edge of the bed and my toddler between us. I moved around a little just to be sure that I could, then went back to bed and fell asleep.

In the dream, I woke up facing my bedroom door again. I watched the woman materialize again. And I had the VERY same dream as the time before paralysis and all...

I woke up again in a panic. I couldn't be sure whether I was dreaming or not because the dream felt SO REAL. As pitiful as it sounds, I actually had to get out of bed and poke everyone to make sure they were real. When I was sure I was awake, I got a glass of water, took a few sips and went back to bed. I made a mental note - In real life, I had a tiffany butterfly lamp on my dresser that was lit. For reasons I don't care to mention, I am a bit afraid of the dark and I always keep it on. In my dream, however, the light was NOT on. So I thought to myself " If I wake up, and that light is not on, I am in trouble..." And with that, I tried to get comfortable and fell back asleep...

I woke up in the dream, and the light was off. Immediately the hairs stood up on the back of my neck. I tried to scream BEFORE the woman appeared in the door and I could not. I also could not move. She appeared again saying all the things she said the two times before... but THIS time she put images in my head. I saw myself in a library looking for books. I needed to look for "Nine Indian Gods".

THIS time, when I woke up, I woke my husband up crying. I told him about the dream and immediately felt horrible... as if it were a secret that I wasn't supposed to tell. I told him how I had awakened and had the dream over twice. I was frightened to even try to go back to sleep. He assured me that it was only a dream. He checked the bathroom and knocked on the doors. Nothing. In spite of this, I was unable to go back to sleep. I kept myself awake by watching TV the rest of the night.

The next day, I Googled "9 Indian Gods". Since that phrase is kinda vague, I don't think I learned much of anything. I'm not sure if by Indian she meant native American or people of India. At any rate, I have never had a dream that reoccurred in THIS way before. I thought it would be interesting to share.

This happened in Edmonton Alberta Canada sometime between 1995 and 2000
I had a dream that a young girl (but you couldn't tell if it was man or female by looks) but her essence said female. She was playing a small yard with a white fence around it. Then she was gone.
The next thing I saw was I floating above a crowd of people that were huddled in a circle looking down at something. The ground was covered with rocks and grass tuffs. As I came down they parted, and they was this same girl but she was naked very dead and curled into a ball. I woke up screaming.
3 days later I got the newspaper and the front page read "

So I've had this dream a few times. I am on a rocket and I'm flying faster than the speed of sound and am flying along side the earth. Just like in the movies when they show the rockets flying along the earth at extremely fast speeds that's how it was in the dream.As I'm flying along the earths surface I am rising and getting higher and higher. It's getting more and more quiet. I can see the earth beside me through the windows and then it gets further and further away. I have no idea of the time it took, and I have no recollection of how I ended up where I did in the dream. At the destination, I remember it was so unusually and peacefully quiet and there was only myself and one other person present. We were in a very large space it seemed like a huge living room with floor to ceiling windows. Just like in the Jetsons living room. I was sitting in the lap of the person who was with me, and he was just looking at me with love and adoration. Though I could not make out a face I just remember the sensation of true and pure love. We were so peaceful together and it seemed like we were the only ones in existence. He said he wanted to show me something, and he took me by the hand and walked me over to the huge window. I looked out and the view was surreal and breathtaking. It was the earth or what seemed like earth far below, but the view was a vast forest with pristine trees, and grasslands. It was such a beautiful site. It was untouched by man, and was naturally beautiful.It seemed so still and peaceful out there. The air in the large room I was in, seemed so clean. and it was like air I've never breathed before. It was just so pure and clean. I felt as though everything was OK. I felt that I could breathe deeply and I had a strong sensation that I would never have to worry about anything ever again and I just felt so calm. I have never felt this calm in my entire life. Then, I woke up. This dream is so vivid in my mind it's like I was actually there.
I wonder what it means?
