As I watched, the antique cassette player was pushed off it's perch. I felt around behind it and there was an invisible mass, round and solid.
People were over at the house, but I was distracted. As I walked around the living room, I kept on feeling tingly in different spots and sometimes I would drag my hand or arm across something solid, yet invisible. These masses held their shape, and I could move them around the room. One crinkled, I could almost hear it, but I definitely felt it, like I could tear it open and eat whatever was inside. One was big, soft, and heavy, like a pillow. One was unmistakably a half gallon container of milk, I could open and close the cardboard spout.
Cliff, one guest, was assuring me that if we turned up the furnace, the hot air pockets would go away, but I wasn't believing that...I was convinced of that possibility before the 'milk
carton' experience.
I was also wondering earlier if this could be some kind of micro white hole which pushed out instead of pulled in. Maybe we are dealing with micro wormholes instead, bubbling up in certain areas and, if the amount of bubbling is sufficient, allowing one timespace to be able to reach across to another, and maybe tingling goes along with that. Maybe this is the cause of the ghost phenomenon.

In another time, Troy was having trouble with poltergeists, a carton of milk had risen up from the breakfast table and something was manipulating it as it floated around his newly-renovated home. (He had swapped the living room and dining room spaces)

What if:
microwormholes could effervesce when two moving, spinning systems interact. Could our solar system, as it passes through the plane of our visible galaxy, experience something akin to
wave amplification or wave nullification, depending upon the energy frequencies of the two systems, and the angle at which they intersect? Maybe there is energy in the fabric of space,
and this interaction between two systems can cause disturbances, like swirling a soda to cause the CO2 gas to come out of suspension and become visible bubbles. Microwormholes
would fizz up and disappear in swarms...but why would they all group together and tend to allow one time in the third dimension to interact with another time? Why that particular time?
Maybe like dialing in a radio station, it depends upon the frequencies of the energies of the two systems.

The dream starts just after a terrible railroad accident. boxcars and tankers are tumbled up in a pile across some railroad tracks in a wooded area. It appears to be summer. There is a thick white vapor rising from the wreckage, and I somehow know that this is a highly toxic spill.
The next scene is in a bank. There are 4 teller windows, and each of them has a line of people. Everyone wants to withdraw their money at the same time, but there is some sort of delay, and the murmur of the crowd is turning to a roar....

Could be a metaphorical train wreck in the economy -- That, or don't invest in railroads :-)

The air is hot and dry the land is barren of plants almost dessert like with what used to be plants leaves stripped and dying I am not sure but I think it is from bugs.. A group of people come up and ask me if I know where there is water.. I am walking accross the barren landscape through a feild.. I point to what looks like a muddy mess of a cattle dip.. the water stinks and there is a dead fish on top of the rotten filthy fluid.. the people run to get drinks.. I gag while watching and ask them why they don't know how to filter the water..
They look with blank thirsty eyes at me.. some keep drinking others ask me to show them how to filter the water.. the ones that didn't end up sick
That is when I woke up..

Although I like to peruse the dreams on this site, I never thought I would post. I'm not privy to detailed dreams and only once or twice in my life have I had a dream that seemed to be a premonition (I dreamed of my Grandmother's passing, which was not expected and did occur a couple of months later).
In my dream I was with my teenage son in a coastal town unlike any I have actually been to. I have spent a great deal of time on the California coast and for some reason, in the dream I just assumed that's where I was. The details of the location do not resemble any city I know of on the west coast of the U.S., however. The town actually resembled what I imagine a Mediterranean coastal town to look like. The slope of the land into the sea was extremely steep so there was not much actual beach. Despite this, there were many swimmers in the ocean bobbing up and down in the waves. The slope was so steep that the waves were not even really breaking before they reached the shore. Quite near the shore were concrete walkways which led to stairways that ascended up the hillside which was developed with concrete statues and ornately decorated concrete sea walls. The area seemed to be very touristy and had an "old world" flavor. I seemed to be about half way up the hillside which I estimated to be about 50 feet higher than the sea surface. My son and I were watching the swimmers and taking in the scenery when we noticed the waves becoming larger. There were people on the walkways below that stopped to observe. As one of the waves grew, it became apparent that it was so large it was going to flow across the walkway. We watched as this occurred and many people ran to escape it but even then it didn't seem extremely dangerous because it was only perhaps 6-12 inches of water on top of the walkway. Several of the swimmers crashed onto the walkway with this wave and I told my son "there are going to be some injuries down there". We then looked out to sea and noticed a much larger swell forming. This swell never broke but simply rose to meet the land just a foot or so below where we were standing. As this happened we observed people all around below us trying to escape. There were people on the low walkway that we could actually see through 50 feet of water trying to make their way to the stairways to escape. We saw people emerging from the water on these stairways making their way up the hillside. Just when I thought it couldn't possibly be any worse, another swell made the water level increase about another foot or so, bringing the water to our feet as we ran uphill. After this swell, the water stopped rising but I woke up before I could witness the sea return to normal levels and I had no idea if the people on the walkways below perished.

Me and my friends Chip and Adam were in some kind of vigilante crime fighting squad. I wanted to find lyrics for some WWII Fascist songs in Italian, so we all went to this "Italian American Cultural Center" and I was going to ask if they had lyrics. I asked the woman at the desk, who was speaking perfect English in a very robotic tone. I told her I wanted lyrics for some old Italian military songs. She said "From the First World War?" I winked and nudged her and said, "No, the OTHER world war." She said they do not have any, and I got up to leave. Chip and Adam told me they had a plan of some kind. Chip got out a big book and purposely spilled Pepsi all over it, pretending it was an accident and made a big scene. While everyone was looking at him, Adam shoved an Italian-English dictionary into a briefcase he was carrying. We all hurried out of the building and went back to the car. Adam took out the dictionary and he said, "Yes, we got it!" I asked, "Ok, so WHY exactly did we do that?" And they claimed it was so that we could learn Italian to help investigate Italian criminals.

I was in this odd apartment that is kind of like mine, but the kitchen was upstairs and had two little windows leading out into the living room. My friend lived next door to me, and he was apparently on parole and his parole officer was at his house. I was being kind of loud so she came over to my place to ask me a few questions, presumably to make sure my friend didn't live next to a bad influence. The parole officer turned out to be a really hot female and we were being all flirty with each other. I told her, "You have a lot of misconceptions about England." and she was confused.

I was in a college lecture hall fiddling around with some kind of Egyptian artifact. apparently I accidentally solved some kind of puzzle in it or something because it opened up and revealed a bunch of hieryglyphics. I asked a professor if anyone could translate them, and he told me I would get extra credit for discovering it. There was a big hole in the middle of the hieroglyphics with light coming from it, so I tossed a pebble down there. Suddenly a giant monster came out of the screen at the front of the class and started chasing me.

I was at the hospital visiting my mom, who was in there for some minor condition. I was drinking a Bud Light in a bottle. I asked if visiting hours were over, and the nurse told me they were. I went outside and sat on the curb instead. This guy from my work drove by in a van and asked what I was doing there. I got up and said, "just hangin' out at the hospital... It's the place to be, man!" And he laughed and drove off. I got in my car and drove away, wondering if I had drank to much to be driving.

I was in high school, and decided to skip out early. I had just been through a breakup and was pretty depressed. I left and went to a small seafood restaurant. The cashier was a cute girl, and out of desperation, I thought about asking her out and having a wonderful future with her. But I just ordered a plate of fried fish and french fries, ate it, and left. Later that night, I was at a dinner party in London. A woman was complaining about how little time she has in life, and how she tries to get in shape but there is just no time or money. Her husband says, "You know dear, I went through your purse today. I saw the receipt. You were at the male stip club." She starts crying and berating her husband for calling her out in front of all the party guests. The man goes outside, and I follow him. He tells me to burn all the humans. The whole world fades into black except me and him. He begins tracing abstract multicolored lines with his fingers. The lines then catch on fire and burn like fuses as he stares at me and explains how the whole human race is worthless, and how I am the only one who can destroy them.
