Tonight in my dreams I was traveling through farm country. The birds weren't able to keep up with the bugs and swarms of different bugs were devouring the food. The farmers were trying to keep the pesticides going but the bugs had developed some sort of mutation that made them immune to the pesticides. Then there were vicious storms that destroyed the rest. People were in a panic food prices were going through the roof. Then I was walking down a road with people lining on both sides looking gaunt and hungry lips cracked from the heat and lack of clean drinking water.

unfortunately i don't remember much about the dream (1/11/11) other than there was flooding in the sf bay area - possibly a tsunami. i wanted to post here as my stepson (he's an adult) has also had a dream(s) about flooding/tsunamis in the last week or so (1/1 - 1/11/11)...

When I last tried to post this, my computer for some reason did not submit the text to go with the title. The rest of the post should have said the following... I rarely dream. But over a month ago I was having a generally chaotic, disorganized dream when suddenly, in my dream, a phone rang. I answered it, and a voice on the other end of the line said, "Everything's going to change in January!" The voice sounded panicked; in my dream I did not feel concerned. I had the impression that the change would take place mid to late January. I have had through my life only a few dreams that involved a phone call like this one. They always were worth paying attention to. I don't know if the "change" relates only to my own life or to the bigger picture of what's happening in our economy, but I have spent an incredible amount of time and mental energy over the last six months prepping for the possibility of economic change. So I feel it's very possible that this dream was referring to something beyond my own life.

I had this dream last week. I was in Kansas City and parts of town seemed to be lifting off in cubes. Like complete cross sections of buildings homes etc. had been laser sliced and were now floating upwards. It wasn't aliens doing this, it was humans trying to take pieces of their lives with them to some safe harbor (which I understood to be a large craft unseen in the dream). There were parts of parking garages with cars still in them, complete sections of town rising up into the sky. It was something similar to how a hoarder indentifies their "self" with crap they have in their house, rather than what they are and their relationships with other people.
Standing next to me was an benovolent ET, he said "they don't really need to expend all this effort, we came here to help you through the world changes that are coming. This is all very futile on their part." He wasn't condemnatory towards these humans who felt they were saving what they thought made up civilization (by preserving their corner of it and their possessions). The ET seemed rather sad at the limited imaginations of those in government and military.

I'll start at the part I remember - I think it was going on a while before.

It was in orbit and mission control picked up some sort of malfunction. I felt surprised, as most of the subsystems on the ship operated on auto and hardly ever broken down.

I remember saying something to the rest of the crew about finding the Pilot's Operating Handbook, every ship has one on board - where's the POH? They went scurrying off to find it.

Meanwhile the dream magically fast forwards to the space shuttle gliding on approach to an airport with a road running to the left and the ocean to the right. I was at the controls and somehow knew it wasn't going to make the airport. I yelled something about declaring an emergency and landing on the road.

For some reason, landing on the road went a lot better than I though it would. Later I found myself in some sort of pilot's lounge.

Then I woke up.

These are two separate dreams I've had, but what was sticking out for me the most was the focus on calendar dates as far as the feeling I got when thoseparts of the dream happened.I began writing them down in a nearby journalwithin seconds of waking up so I had lots of details that normally are forgotten after a couple of days.
Woke from this dream on 12-22-10 --> I was with a coworker out in a field or park and saw a jet fly by so fast there seem to be flames coming off of it. We turned left and there were ufo's so close to us & clear. I thought of them as bell shaped (they almost reminded me of Darth Vader's of all things). I pointed them out to my coworker and she screamed. I grabbed her arm & told her to run.Some other man (who I don't know) was there too & was running.
Some time passed and it was darker now. I saw a different UFO, landed on a nearby hillside. It had a smoother body, was lighter greenish color & it had a silver pole around it...kind of like a hand rail & 3 spokes, also silver, attaching it to the craft. Maybe more spokes, but later in the dream my mind decided 3. It was quieter...more calmed down around me (and by myself). Moreskips and I'm on the ship with them. They're all human now (previously not earlier in the dream). I'm ona seat/couch(?) and I can see outside and the hillside that the craft is sitting on. I'm so excited as it begins to move. I'm waiting for everything to start spinning (like the ship looks like it's doing from the outside), but it never does. I see us getting further from where we were. I know I should be scared, but I actually feel like I am where I should be. I feel like everything is now right. I know I'm not staying, but it's all been set right. [Don't know what that means]...
As we left earth, I was seeing whole galaxies nearby. They appeared much closer than I knew possible with what I knew our own crafts saw when this close to earth. The space seemed alive with stuff going on. Planets that were the universe's version of our convienant stores. Spaceships everywhere & yet far apart. I felt more like on a roadtrip going through cities, than on a spaceship going through planetary systems.
...skip to end of dream. We were at some 'event' with lots of other people (and the original crew) and some other guy there made a reference to another 'event' or ceremony that we were having in January. I don't remember what he was saying, but in my mind's eye I saw the month of January in a calendar, after the new year? Within the first half of January. Something between the 1st & 15th?
I woke up from this dream 01-06-2011 --> In the middle of another dream, a man makes his way through a crowd of people and says to me, "January 18th? Does that date mean anything to you?" I said the date sounded familiar to me. "What about August 18th?" [Or maybe Aug.21?] He gave suggestions as if to help jog my memory. Then I said, "Oh...my son't original due date was Aug. 18th [or 21st]...but he was born Sept. 22." The man had already started to walk away before I even finished but then turned back and said, "I'm going to get him a Thunder Bird." And then I saw the image of the Native American Thunder Bird. "Sweet!" I said. -end of that part of the dream- [This dream felt like it was strongly conncected to the recent lunar eclipse Dec. 21 & solar eclipse Jan 4 & the dream from 12-22...but I have no idea what.]

As I was falling asleep, I had the strangest vision. I was thinking to myself, that the most important and first thing you have to do when your dreaming is realize that you're dreaming. As I had this thought, I realized I was actually asleep and then the moon materialized in front of me against a pitch black background. Gradually, a face appeared on the moon as I was staring at it, and then the face quickly decayed and turned into the face of a skull or a skeleton, shooting an evil smile at me. Then abruptly, black lines began to form on the surface of the moon-skull. The lines rapidly traced out a jigsaw puzzle on the moon. The luminosity of the moon-skull increased and burned with a very white light, with the jigsaw pattern overlaid on top of it. Suddenly, the pieces exploded out and apart from each other. The dramatic effect kicked me into a state of quasi-wakefulness, and I found myself back in my bed.

On Monday, January 10, 2011 I went on to HalfpastHuman.com to see if anything was going on. When I started reading "

Lincoln, NE 5am
Just before waking up I heard an older woman's voice saying, "It doesn't matter how or when but the Tone of it." I uderstood this to mean sound.

I'm in some kind of electronics store. None I recognize. There are several people around me browsing the shelves.

Suddenly I get the feeling something isn't right. I start to realize that I'm dreaming but it feels different than normal. As I realize this a women comes up and begins to seduce me. I quickly forget what I was just thinking.

Just then a man is suddenly standing next to me. Long blond hair and a beard. Roughly about my age(24). He says "Pay Attention" not unkindly but firmly.

Suddenly the woman is gone and I realize I'm dreaming. I quickly climb up on a near by table and start trying to get all the other people's attention. I tell them "Hey everyone listen! I think we're dreaming right now! I don't think any of this is real!"

They continue browsing the shelves except for one man who says "I think he might be right!"

Now I'm outside this warehouse I believe to be the electronics store I was just inside. It's not necessarily a warehouse district but vaguely resembles one. It is near the water, maybe an ocean.

I see a man getting into a cab and - despite looking nothing like him - know it's my sister's fiance. I yell "Carl!" but her ignores me. So as he's getting in the cab I yell "Carl! Remember this!"

He drives away.

Memory is lost beyond this point.
