The dream basically started off with my getting on a boat and heading out to go fishing up some canal in the Gulf of Mexico. A man in the dream said that if we head up such and such canal we can still find fish. While on the boat (which I wasn't driving) I was able to see the waters slowly getting more and more oil filled until we were cruising on top of huge amounts of oil. The boat made a sharp right and turn and when I looked to my left I was ground zero of the oil leak. I saw a number of oil platforms and all around the oil was shooting up hundreds of feet, as if they were true oil geysers. It looked very panicked. I was at that point I was splashed with oil water and covered from head to toe. We went through a canal with high cliffs on either side. When I reached the other side of the canal the dream shifted to being on a bridge and watching what looked like a poorly edited and CG video of a plane flying into a huge bridge. (I guess my boat turned into a car) I felt no panick because I believed it was a fake, though I still had to get off the bridge. I drove underneath a semi that was going out of control. The dream then shifted to an old rickety house that was long and looked like about 3 houses combined into one. I got the sense that I was in the south because of the shape/style/condition of the house (not that all the south is bad) Zombies were attacking and I had to fend them off to protect two children that were with me. Along with the two children was a "Milla Jovavich character as from Resident Evil Trilogy" but it wasn't exactly here. We fought off another wave of zombies before a huge biker guy came and helped us clear out the zombies that were attacking. He informed us that they only attack once per day and we should be ok for a bit. I asked him how he was fairing and he said that he was doing good, though he did get scratched by a zombie. At that point I told him that I had to kill him before he turned into a zombie. He didn't fight me and understood. (insert graphic scene of mutilating this guy to be sure he was completely dead and couldn't come back) The four of us (me, milla, and the kids) then went down a hallway where there was a meeting of a few more people in a room that were preparing for the next wave. The wave soon came, though the zombies were more exploring the house rather than just attacking us. I grabbed a stick and cought it on fire to protect myself, knowing that fire into the head would kill them faster. I went into a room were two zombies were talking while one smoked a cigarette and I proceded to attack them before they realized that I was alive still. I got one of them and I woke up before the other was able to act. End Dream

I'm driving into San Francisco on a cloudy day and it's totally deserted. There are no cars on the streets. I'm shocked at how clean it is, not a scrap of trash nor a speck of graffiti. The houses are freshly painted and the windows are clean. There are no curtains or shades drawn. The windows appear as empty black squares and rectangles. I know that the people who left were instructed to leave the windows uncovered.

I park the car in the parking lot of a single story house that is now an office. There are two other cars in the lot that belong to the two men in the office. One of them is a friend and coworker. We are retrieving business records before the deadline to vacate the city. I get the impression that San Francisco was meticulously cleaned and abandoned for the benefit of new owners. I suspect that the city has been given to extra-terrestials in a treaty, or that it could be some kind of baited trap for them. I don't tell the two men because they already seem to know this.

I'm stuck in traffic in a residential area of San Francisco. Everyone is leaving and traffic is at a near standstill, but nobody seems to be upset. It's like a huge tailgate party at a snail's pace: there is music and dancing and people are wandering around visiting and sharing food and drinks.
It's a sunny afternoon. I look at the sky and there are 2 moons.

Last night (7/11/10) I had a vivid dream of being a college student on a bus with many other students--not sure where we weregoing, maybe to an organized activityor home for break? Anyway, I was caught up in my own thoughts and not paying attention and, the next thing I knew, the bus driver (a very serious looking man who seemed to me to be a military official though he didn't have a uniform on as far as I could tell) was telling us that the area was about to be flooded and we would all have to evacuate immediately.Other buses would be provided to take us wherever we wanted but we would need to decide where we wanted to go. I don't know exactly what part of the country this was--it seemed to be my college town in the NY Finger Lakes area but I don't know for sure. It was raining hard but we hadn't heard anything about a flood risk so we were all very surprised. The serious man was concentrating on driving and he was getting annoyed as the shocked and panicky students pestered him with questions. I was about to ask for more information but he gave me a very angry look and I didn't. It was almost like he had already told us all about the flood but we hadn't heard him or hadn't been paying attention and he wasn't going to repeat himself for dummies like us. I decided I was going to head to my parent's house in upstate NY even though I didn't want to. My bus stopped near an even bigger bus and I got off in the soaking rain and climbed on the bigger bus. I had nothing but the clothes on my back and I was very angry at myself for being caught unprepared. Then I woke up.

Very vivid nightmare last night. It was a series of scenes of homes being invaded by military types. The purpose of the invasions seemed to be to have everyone leave, houses and property being claimed by those in control. If any dogs were present in the yard or home, they were immediately killed. Anyone who questioned the authority of the military types, the merest question or look, were immediately shot. I was not in the dream but was watching this series of episodes all with the same outcome. There were lines of people walking down roads away from the actions.The people walking were not allowed to take anything at all with them. Just go and right now. There was an awareness that no matter how prepared people thought they were, no matter how many supplies they had, it was all useless because of the overwhelming forces. It was clearly known in the dream thatsurvival supplies were being confiscated and there was no regard for human life. Also, anyone who had ever been in the military was being called up to rejoin. If they did not come immediately, they were killed. I can not account for this nightmare by any movie or book or conversation. Vivid enough I awoke with lots of actual adrenaline in my system.

Sleeping in this morning I dreamed my family and I were in Daytona Beach at a hotel. We heard the water was contaminated by oil and the people who were unfortunately were in the water immediately got sick. They came out holding the back of their heads like they had headaches and were walking slowly. They had a bubble of water around their heads; I'm guessing that means their breathing felt sort of like drowning in water. Military and coast guard ships arrived almost immediately and began evacuating the beach; telling people to leave on a bullhorn type thing. Those exposed were not allowed to get away. I was busy trying to get my family and extended family out; including my cats and dog. (Don't normally take them on vacation.) I was worried about traffic getting out. Everyone was trying to help everyone else except the people exposed; it was too late for them.

The dream began with me at my parents" house. I was talking with them but don"t know what it was about because the conversation quickly changed. I noticed a bright light behind me, kind of like the moon except that it moved really fast, so fast that I only briefly glimpsed the light. I went over to the window and noticed that it was a full moon to the left, but then to the right was a giant version of a full moon at the time. Size comparison wise if the regular moon was a manhole cover, this one was a baseball diamond. After seeing this we of course had to go outside and get a better look. It also seemed like the giant moon moved because we were staring at it out the back of the house, but when we went out front it was across the street over our neighbors" houses.
Everyone on that street, I assume everyone that could see it, came out of their houses for a look and there was a loud murmur like being at a sporting event or in a crowd of people. The giant moon then got an overlay of the regions of the moon. This then turned into a superimposing of an earth map on the moon. Then finally it turned into a map of the earth.
About this time I look down the street and I see commotion 2 or 3 houses down on the other side of the street. It looks like a group of people are running into the house while the family and another group of people stand around outside. Shortly after I notice this I find out what"s happening first hand because it is my parents" house"s turn. A group of 6 Special Forces type people dressed in black with guns start running into the house and don"t ask permission or serve any type of warrant or anything like that. I ask my father, "This is unconstitutional isn"t it?" He replies that it is and immediately had a gun drawn to his head. This is when I notice that there are 6 more Special Forces people outside. Then one tries to use the shoulder nerve pinch on me, but it doesn"t work and I spin around and put a different lock on her arm. It must be someone I know because they laugh it off and I let them go rather than getting shot.
Then patriotic music starts playing from the giant earth sphere and a voice comes over that they are looking for terrorists and to not be afraid. They leave the house, but then I remember that my wife is visiting the house 2 houses down and across the street. They won"t let me go down there, but they seem to have a strong interest in that house. I can see from where I"m at that they are going through a lot of boxes over there.
Time jumps to either the next day or even farther in the future. I call my wife on her cell phone and she says she can"t talk at the moment because she"s not on a secure line. She switches it to a secure line somehow and we are able to talk. The basic gist of the conversation is that she is under house arrest there just because she was over there. They don"t believe her to be a threat. However the family that was there is being considered a level 1 terrorist. She says we need to prepare to leave. About that time I woke up.
The thing that makes this dream interesting other than content is that it is only told from one perspective, mine. Normally when I dream it turns out like a movie where I see all people"s perspectives to keep the viewer informed and I have a tendency to have a camera view. This one was all in the first person. I also rarely take part as myself in my dreams. My body will occasionally be used for other characters or as the main character, but it rarely as myself, more for visualization purposes. I also rarely remember my dreams in such detail, but I was able to fall back asleep with only the thought that I should write it down and remembered it vividly when I woke up this morning.

In this dream, I'm watching some alien planner looking at a holographic representation of an area. They were the good guys but had been made to look like the bad guys by a group called the Kardashians(Hollywood??). Then I'm watching a scene of some kind of angular, rectangular box. It's army green. It begins firing some kind of beam off into the distance. I don't know if this was a satellite or maybe how they view human military technology...angular boxes that fire things.

This is a reoccurring dream that I've had about 3 yrs. It always starts off the same way - a still dark night. No moon & the only light is from the stars. They are unusually bright & beautiful tonight. I lay in bed staring up to the sky. As I doze off, I zoom out of my room and can see the sky clearly - uninhibited by my roof.
The sight is amazing and I am in awe! The chirping of the grasshoppers and the croaking of the frogs has, all of a sudden stopped. The night is eerily too quiet.
Laying there I rub my eyes - I must be seeing things, the starts are moving. I saw it jump! Almost as a game of hide & seek, one jumps behind the other. Then the truth is revealed! The stars are not what they seem to be. A few very bright stars start to flicker. They are now all moving slowly - not like stars - but like something else. The air get cool & a chill runs thru my bones. The stars start flying around much faster. They seem to be dropping out from behind larger ones. Many tiny, little stars zooming towards the earth. Holy Crap - they are not stars - they are alien ships & they are attacking!
The sky is now littered with thousand of alien ships. All start attacking and mayhem is everywhere. Fighters, transport ships and smaller more nimble attack ships, while the larger ones just circle around. Laser beams crisscross the sky and a full fledge air battle ensues. On the ground our troops are racing across the field, but to no avail - tanks, personnel carriers, even ground-to-air missile launchers are all blasted into oblivion. In the sky our fighter planes are struggling to stay airborne. Sadly they are destined for more of the same. They are blasted out of the sky! Fighter pilot, parachuting out of their planes, are being picked off like helpless plastic ducks lined up at a Coney Island shooting gallery. Poor guys, everybody is dying - falling like flies. Life terminated even before they hit the ground.
The sun is now rising to a blood red sky splattered with our hopes of saving ourselves. What a massacre!

I was in a small room made of glass with a few Chinese officers in military garb. There were a few other prisoners awaiting cross examination. I wrote my mother an email on my laptop to say goodbye. I wrote "Mom, I'm in a Chinese Gulag. I love you!" and XXOO. I never finished sending the email, I heard "They're watching you." I was put on a stool before a couple officers andmade to drink "pine sol" out of small cup knowing that it was supposed to me sick and forget where I was. But I didn't forget. They took me out of the room and into the greater compound. There were many rooms, eating halls, play rooms for children, and even an enclosed outdoor space. We wore badges everywhere we went and had to check in every time we entered a room or left. The bathroom stalls had no doors. I sat on the toilet while a woman watched me. I asked her for some privacy and she laughed and said, "Privacy? This is something you better get used to." Next to the bathroom I saw a room with a lady dying slowly on the floor and her two weak kids. Out in the dining hallpeople I saw a friend of mine and yelled at him, "I told you we'd end up here." The people around me seemed generally happy, and I didn't understand why until I started eating the food. I became happier and I forgot where I was. Then I met a woman who spoke to me in code. She said she chose me because I still seemed "awake." She said don't eat the food, it's making you dumb. I asked her how she ended up here. She said that she went to the doctor for a cancer vaccine and they took her here and took away her baby. I stopped eating the food and thought about escape. But I knew if I tried they would kill me. Outside were towers with officers and machine guns. I saw an angry prisoner kill another prisoner with a swiss army knife. One of the officials standing by said in a sweet, laughing voice, "Oh, Andy, that's so depressing." We were allowed to kill each other; it seemed to be encouraged. I woke up thinking about ways to run.
