For this update, we return to the nuclear name Clive Bundy, but instead of heading out to southern Nevada, we dial in St George, UT.
There is a lot of irony here.
Clive was a first of several things from Project August: He became part of our first dream metaphor, which turned into our first headline AND later became our first hit.
The Bundyfest that we were predicting for August looks now like it will take place a couple of months later, and the posturing has certainly calmed down, too, so I’m betting the event will be much less “nuclear.”
Therefore, as far as counting beans and headlines, this could be one of our lower-order predictions, even though it did receive much attention early on.
And here’s the irony of it all. We expected the Bundy headline to be one of the big winners in Proj Aug, but instead of Proj Aug, Clive gives us a whirlwind of support for our latest non-Proj Aug DreamForecast.
Say what? From the last DreamForecast, we saw this possible headline:
Possible Headline: “Good vs Evil” (Some clear manifestation of the bigger archetypical battle being waged).
At this point, many are thinking, “Foul!” Yes, on any week, we can search for Good vs Evil and get some decent hits. So I’m not trying to defend the following news hits.
All I want everyone to recognize is the incredible, impossible odds of having our Project August main character be the very person fulfilling last week’s non-Project August linguistics. Let’s have a look at this recent headline:
Cliven Bundy: God Told Me To Fight ‘Civil War’ Against Feds
AP | Posted: 08/03/2014 6:17 pm EDT
ST. GEORGE, Utah (AP) — Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy claims the April confrontation between the federal government and his armed supporters was part of an age-old spiritual battle between good and evil.
Just to be sure, I know everyone has their opinion about this hot Bundy issue one way or the other, but I stay out. I don’t know nearly enough about all the issues here to poke my head in there and offer an opinion.
I will say this though, as a general observation. When people qualify their actions claiming that it was God telling them to do it, I’ve found that this typically leads to conflict and tragedy as opposed to hope and peace.
Bundy said people from across the country rallied around him because they were “spiritually touched,” and he suggested they would not have prevailed had God not been on their side.
I don’t doubt that some people were probably spiritually touched, but I have grave doubts about militia members supporting him based on being spiritually touched. I think they were more concerned about big government…nothing more.
And while we’re at it, how in the heck does something like this happen (another excerpt from the article)…
The federal agency says Bundy owes over $1 million in fees and penalties for trespassing on federal property without a permit over 20 years. Bundy, a states’ rights advocate, refuses to acknowledge federal authority on public lands.
Say what? 20 Years?!
Back to Good vs. Evil
Again, I’m not here to try and convince anyone of the DreamBot’s viability, but from my vantage point, this seems reasonably impressive because it validates that the collective unconscious is very much attached to this meme of “Good and Evil”…
America: Exceptionally good or exceptionally evil?
Obama and Kerry behind one of most strategic mistakes in military history: “This is a classic war of good versus evil.”
John Kerry’s Deadly, Tragic Mistake: This is a classic war of good versus evil. (might be the same article as above re-posted).
“Then came the reduction of the struggle into the simple binary oppositions of good versus evil”
Wanna see something else…next sentence matches our other previously growing meme:
“Germany became the evil hun intent on spreading her pernicious influence across the globe.”
Hollywood got in on the action, as expected, but I’m not gonna waste my time with that.
But my favorite quote for the week:
PEACE vs more PEACE?
The second issue from last week must also be addressed. I’m guessing that everyone accomplished their homework, right? Remember that instead of a war-like headline we did something different:
“Mandatory Headline: PEACE, PEACE, PEACE, PEACE, PEACE. Focus only on PEACE!!”
I suppose the following headlines are merely coincidence?

I can tell everyone is geared up for Paradigm 3 after that performance!
I think the German Theologian got it right saying the “choice often is not between good and evil but between evil and more evil”
It ain’t over…. 🙂
