Intention: to dream of a major news event in January

I was looking towards a city with many small and medium height buildings. I could see roiling clouds of dark smoke above the buildings although I did not see flames. I thought I was safe where I was at, so I stayed there and continued to watch, curious as to the cause.  The wind picked up and the smoke began to blow my way, and the smoke engulfed another building. Then the smoke clouds began to turn green, which I thought was quite odd. Someone said the building had cans of paint in it, and the chemicals of the paint were turning the clouds green.  I could see people at the building windows, and some began to jump from just a few stories up. They seemed to be jumping into small containers or pools of liquid to break their fall.

I then woke up and intended to find out where and when.

The name Melbourne came to me, but I don't recall any more details on the when.
I searched 'Melbourne', and there is one in Australia and one in Florida.

I made an intention before I began dreaming but I am not too sure how clear is was because as I was very tired.  The intention was either "what is the next big event that will happen" or" what will happen at the end of the month?"
I was with a small group of people.  We had traveled from our hotel to a town near the sea.  It was the second day were went to this town.  The area looked Asian and a little touristy perhaps.  The building  had a few order up restaurants, you could see the cooks preparing the food  from the window area you order at.  It reminded me of a small single story outdoor asian arcade/plaza building area, but think I saw an escalator as well, maybe not in the actual building but perhaps nearby.  
We knew we had a short time to be there or we would be trapped.  An event of some sort was going to take place, perhaps a volcano eruption .  At 10:00 am everything was going to shut down to prepare.  I don't know why we decided to come to the town because we were going to have a difficult time trying to find a way back to where we came if we were still there at !0:00.  We wanted to get something to eat as it might be a long time before we could eat again. We stood in line to order but it became 10;00 before we could get food.  The cooks and staff at the  little restaurants nearby were all Asian. We knew the trains would likely not be running any longer either.  On our way out, we asked if we could have a egg custard cup, there were plenty, but the lady just shock her head and began to pack up. As we were walking away, we passed a man who opened the door to a room, likely his personal room. He was leaving with 2 other men, one who as likely a teen.  I had the feeling that there was some sexual inappropriate activity going on in that room.  They too were leaving to try to escape" the event" but I thought they would also have a hard time leaving in time.  The event seemed like it was going to be a volcano eruption, though I am not 100% sure.  There was no mass panic, just worry and fear of not being able to get out of the area.

Last night I dreamed I was outside of what felt like a Home Depot. I was with other people and someone was digging in the ground with a shovel. We are near a tree and when I looked down I saw what looked like a baby monkey. I said, stop there is a baby monkey by the roots of the tree. It was trying to dig up sweet potatoes that were planted around the tree. The man I was with picked up the baby monkey and held it in his hand. It was tiny with the body about 6 inches long and the arms and legs were longer. We were both questioning were this monkey came from. Then the monkey started singing the US National Anthem in a British accent. We both looked at each other wondering where this monkey learned to speak and with a British accent. We walked into the building and see that it is a zoo. One of the workers is speaking in a British accent so we give him the monkey. He smiled and said he was wondering were this little fellow had gone. End of dream.

Afterthoughts: I've no idea where this dream came from.

I am standing in the sky (sight is like that of a drone) I see a Giant Eagle (this was the cloud but it was metaphoric) The Eagle is looking down at standing rock, he turns his head and watches intently, his eyes focus on the people, he is waiting for movement to strike. In the talon of the Giant Eagle is the black snake, wiggling to get free.

I am in a board room and I am watching contracts get signed, at the end of the table one man leans over to the to the other and makes a wager.

I am back at Standing rock, the clouds behind the Eagle are white, but the Eagle cloud is the colors of the American Flag. The Black snake is wrapped in a yellow ribbon.
