Just realized this morning that I first stopped lurking for Project September. Has a whole year gone past already? And what a year for a lot of us, but especially you, Eagle.

You are the ultimate plate-spinner, and you do it all with grace and humor.

Thanks for keeping this going, the daily botruns, and occasionally letting us lunatics run the asylum when necessary. Without you, this wonderful place on the net wouldn't be here, and the world would be a much poorer place.

Don't remember many details, I was in a huge house, wasn't mine, but was staying there. A cat I had years ago, my buddy, appeared. I knew he had died, and was pretty ecstatic that he was now alive.

I am a man and am with a group of men. We are wearing very worn clothes, are hungry, no, starving, tired and many of us are sick. I am at the base of a rocky mountain hillside. The mountain in front of me has some bushes and trees but it is mostly a tall almost cliff like small mountain, lots of dirt, some boulders and rocks are jutting out of the side. They mountain curves to the right behind me. Between me and this mountain is a railroad track. The ground is dirt. Off to the right there is a gap between 2 mountains/hills where the tracks first appear. They travel along the base of the mountain and over to the left and continue following the contour of the mountain. I don't know how far down it goes and I can't see over the hills and peaks, even the small ones. We are in a "camp" of some sort. We have been there for a great deal of time but something has changed. We are no longer being held captive but we are isolated and can't leave either. It has the feeling of WW2 and a Holocaust camp however we are not wearing "striped pj's", there is no real barracks that I can see and I am aware that there is NO gas chamber present. I do not notice a fence in front of me or to the right, but the mountain would be a natural barrier. I do not see behind me too far, there may be one there.
It is fall or spring.
We are hoping someone will find us. We have been "left" and want to be rescued. Trains come by, but only on occasion. There hasn't been a train for some time. There hasn't been a train since "they" left us. If we see one, we will try to capture their attention and get help. In the distance the faint sound of a train clanking down the track can be heard. We gather by the tracks in front of the mountain and wait. A train slowly appears. IF we were healthy, we could run along beside it for some time, it is that slow. The cars are not enclosed. The men on the train appear to be workers of some sort perhaps miners. They have woolen jackets on and some have hats. They are sitting in train cars which remind me of a child's wagon, the ones that have wood boards on the sides and are open. They are tired and have some dirt smudges on their faces. I try to get their attention, waving my arms. We don't speak their language. I try pantomiming that we are hungry and need help. I worry they will think we are contagious with some illness. I use the few words I have learned of the language of this area but they don't really understand. Finally I try English thinking perhaps someone on the train understands it as a second language. There isn't much time left before the train will pass us by. Finally I hear an English response, it is brief and I am not sure what was said. It does provide hope however. The workers on the train seem to have a different look on there faces now, one of almost shock and purpose. They are at least aware of us now. There is hope.

Thoughts.
It reminded me or a work camp in WW2 Europe. I don't know why the men had not tried leaving on their own but I know that there was not a town nearby. They may not have had the energy to try to do so.

I feel like the waning section is about me! I’m incredibly annoyed but free….and my situation is improving and believably fun with my babies.

Series of dreams all with spirals.

In a parking garage driving around trying to find a parking spot.

Looking at a parking garage from a distance watching construction trucks drive down this broken, decaying, spiral ramp. Thinking someone is going to get hurt bad.

Walking up a spiral path in wet grass. I was barefoot, and with a group of people. We were all strung out in a single file line, walking and talking. My old boss was there, which was surprising to me but I figured we're all in this together. The higher up I got, the lighter and better I felt.

This is the only layer of a multi layer dream I remember.
I am in a high tower of a hotel room lying on the bed with my back against the wall, resting on some pillows. There is someone else with me. The comforter is a crisp white, the furniture dark and modern, almost black, with a hint of dark purple. The room, a corner room with perpendicular windows, is new or newly refurbished. It is large and long, probably a suite, with a table and four chairs, matching the rest of the furniture style and color. It is daytime and sunny, late morning I believe, the sky is blue. As I looked out the window , I could make out the distant image of a passenger plane in the sky. It is coming in from the north on approach to the airport, still quite high in altitude. As it gets a tiny bit closer but still quite far a way, I notice what appears to be some flames at the back of the plane. I look more closely and see about a third to half the plane is on fire. Suddenly there is an explosion, from the inside out , and the plane blows apart, small pieces drifting in the air. I yell to the person with me," grab your phone, did you see that?" I search for my phone, can't find it for a moment but finally do and take pictures. I am thinking these pictures might help with an investigation as flames from the explosion are still visible. I am thinking that I can't believe I just witnessed this happen. I go over the events in my head and verify in my mind that yes indeed, there was a fire first at the back of the plane, both inside and outside. The explosion was secondary. I also noted the explosion came from the plane not from a " missile" hitting the plane. I want to make sure I can be a reliable witness as I know I saw what was happening before the actual explosion and most people would have only noticed the explosion.

Thoughts.
1. Again with looking for my phone...odd that many dreams I have posted involve me needing to know where my phone is located.
2. At the time I was thinking event might be in Phoenix, I know the airplane approach patterns for that city well. I "felt" this was not a coastal city. There was nothing in the surroundings which suggested a specific city however , other than I was in a city with a downtown which was large enough for skyscrapers but not too large and dense like New York. No water was noticed and I did not recognize any known land structures.

I was in my office, and everyone was there, including people who had quit. There was a table and everyone was putting food down and getting ready to party. But the weird thing was, in walking back to the food, I noticed all this mold on the walls. It was FURRY, and drippy and really pretty gross. I tried to wipe it off as I walked past, but frankly, no one else seemed to notice.

The scene changed, and now I was at some kind of a fair, and there were tables of food (still). It all looked really good until you got close, and then I noticed that it was all decaying to some extent. Everyone was loading up their plates and baskets, and I was horrified. The longer I stood there, the more I realized that not only the food was decaying, actually a LOT of people around me were dying too. I was ok, and not everyone was dying, but a lot of them were. And acting as if they weren't dying inside.

I started looking for my Sunpass so I could get out of town, but couldn't find it. Ultimately I decided that it probably wasn't necessary anymore and just left.
