I dreamt I was in a faculty meeting.  We were filling out "peer" evaluations of our fellow faculty.  I looked around and noticed that one of the faculty members was wearing a military uniform.  I got up to look outside the front door.  There was a large troop bus waiting for the faculty member who was in the military.  He was packing a large duffel bag, and putting his laptop inside the bag. The bus was waiting for him.  Looking out into the street, there were no trees and it was a barren landscape.

I am in an Anatomy department, so it was odd that one of our members (not particularly young) would be in the military and be called up, like he was in the National Guard.

Dreamed about a white dog that looked like a Labrador. I was standing speaking with someone when I see a dog walking toward me. It stops in front of me and allows me to give it hugs and kisses. Someone in the room says, I have had that dog for 13 years. I am confused because I know this dog does not belong to this person. I think, why would she lie about owning this dog. End of dream.

After thoughts: Not sure who the other person in the dream was. I don't know anyone with a white dog so I thought it may have another meaning. INTENTION: October News Event

On a cruise ship, did not appear to be one of the megaships; gleaming white.  At sea, and there was some type of signal or alarm.  I recall there were 4 levels of signal/alarm, and the 3rd level was sounding or the alarm was comprised of 3 tones. The letter Q popped in my head, not sure what it mean: 'Quarantine' came to mind, but I doubt that was it, or maybe the letter Q is in the ship's name.

The ship returned to port in a busy town or city.  As it was slowly moving through a channel, I observed several men, armed with knives and guns, pressed up against a wall watching the ship. As the men were discovered, the order went out to speed up the ship to evade the men.  I couldn't see the men anymore, and I didn't know if they had leapt onboard or not.

The ship continued to gain speed, and was now careening down the city streets like an automobile in a car chase.

The thought 'Cartagena' came to mind, I don't know what if any cruises go there.

I since checked the internet, Cartagena is a port city in Columbia, and many cruises do indeed go there including Panama Canal cruises.

Intention: October News

I was observing, not physically present, and zooming in on a family scene in an impoverished area.  The white frame house was dilapidated, in need of repair.  What I assumed was a family was in the backyard, a young man and woman possibly in their 30's, both with dark hair, and a young woman I thought might be their daughter, with long straight dark hair.   The adults were laughing and singing a bit, and appeared happy; their happiness made me happy.  Then as I zoomed in closer, I looked over to the young woman who could have been in her teens, possibly 20's. She was lying on the ground, and her eyes had been carved out.  I reeled in horror and looked to the left, and noticed carved up body parts strewn around, but not what amounted to a full body.

I had a sense that the man was either associated with law enforcement or security, or pretended to, having a uniform.
I also had a sense of water nearby, and thought there was a pool, but after the dream ended I realized I had not actually seen a pool, just sensed it.

I stepped into a phone booth to make a call. I saw a note stuck to the phone, the message read as follows.

Place a nickel on top of this phone. Call the operator and have her dial this number XX-XXXX. When the man answers repeat this message exactly; Please deliver fourteen pizzas to the farm with the back room that has a well under the floor so that all those people do not starve.

As I stood there thinking that sounds crazy and it must be a joke being run by some kids. I then notice that the scenery around me is not modern. It is like in the early 40’s. I decide to make the call just to see what happens.

I pick up the phone, the operator answers, I have her connect the number and a man answers. I give him the message just as it was written.

The man says: “I just did that, if you do not believe me call this number XX-XXXX (it was a different number) and say exactly this; "Did you just receive fourteen pizzas at the farm with the back room that has a well under the floor so that all those people did not starve?”

Now I am very curious! I hang up and pick up the phone again and have the operator connect me with the new number and a man answers. I ask the question just as I was told.

The man says: “Why yes, we did receive fourteen pizzas at the farm with the back room with the well under the floor and all the people are full and on their way to the station that is under the building that is behind the Cathedral that is in the town of ???? . They should be there by now. If you want to check on them please call this number XX-XXX (a new number) and say exactly this; "Are all the people that were at the farm with the back room that has a well under the floor that ate the fourteen pizzas that filled them up and continued their trip to the station that is under the building that is behind the cathedral that is in the …..

I wondered how long this could go on. I wondered if this was a long running joke. I wondered if there really were people or was I just passing alone a coded message. I wondered if I was breaking the law or if I was helping someone do a good thing.

I woke up!

This is one of the detailed dreams I get when I take “Serotonin” but I can’t take it all the time.
I have no idea what this means.

Most of dream forgotten except the following:

group going somewhere. I had a car but parked it. 4 of us were no longer with group. A lady says she was asked to make food for group. So she says "well it's just the four of us to make sandwiches". I wasn't in my car. I was worried about leaving it.
