Last few nights have been unusual as it has all been day residue. The dreams have been day residue with my myself woven into the scene, like I am having a walk-on part and do what I want with the character.

Terrorism, eh? Can you say day residue? Are we creating more of the same?

Alternatively, what if Group 1 has identified our first terrorist act (basically implying that all the previous terror events have been staged)? Regardless, take the day-residue challenge and tell me whether this run is indicating past events or future predictions.

One point of reference about how to rule out day residue is to pay attention to the surge score. If this is day residue, a score of 124 would be the highest recorded day residue word in dreambot history. From there, I’m wondering whether a Phoenix Bank is being threatened as part of the terrorist act.

Putting all the indicators together, I see:
Terrorism facial direct basic interest lock (lockdown is the basic interest of the people)
Nice Phoenix bank goes
Prediction three animal sun (Sun matches Phoenix)
Seated rest arrive waves traveling (could be a coastline wave, but this could also be the energy wave coming off of a terrorist’s explosion)

I am standing at a shoreline watching a ferry taking people out onto a big body of water. Could be the shoreline of the US, could be like one of the Great Lakes. My co-worker is standing next to me, and he asks if I've seen the new building yet. I say no and turn around to see a hi-rise going up behind me and I bound up to the top floor. It's open to the wind, and you can see all sorts of things wrong with it. Stress cracks in the concrete, everything is uneven, and the workers aren't attached by safety lines. Strangely enough, I see a line of cars that are parked up on the top floor getting ready to fall off the edge of the crumbling concrete onto the street below.

My boss shows up and asks if I'd like a lift down. I say ok, and he produces a basket like a papasan chair and I jump in and fly back down to the bottom. When my co-worker arrives, we have a discussion about how usually people get in on the ground floors first, and get to know the construction crew, but in this case he doesn't think anyone has moved in yet.

I turn around and there is a restaurant behind me that will be part of the building. We enter and walk around, it's full of diners. The border of the dining area is filled with antiques, and I stop by a child's desk that looks Victorian, very ornate with carvings of flowers (which are painted) on a lid that must flip back. I am fascinated by this when I wake up.

Thoughts - could be bot residue (VOLUME CONSTRUCTION) could be day residue from our moving into a newly renovated building. But this dream was another very clear one (Yay!!!) so here it goes. Also - the building was not my office in real life if you take into account the body of water it was on. Way larger than Tampa Bay, where you can see the opposite shoreline, and our building is blocks away from the Bay.

The desk portion is very odd. I got nothing here, folks!

As a dreams expert who does a lot of media interviews, I am asked fairly often how to distinguish ordinary dreams from precognitive ones. In fact, I was recently asked that question on the Christine Upchurch Show.

Short answer: look for personal symbolism and rule out other possibilities.

First rule out that a dream you suspect to be precognitive is actually about something personal to you. The majority of dreams for most people are entirely personal. Ask yourself if the dream is residue from the previous day. Or does it express your anxieties or wishes. Physicist Russ Targ, who has studied precognition as a scientist and written extensively about it, uses this example: You know you haven’t studied for a test, you dream you fail it then really do fail it. That’s a self-fulfilling prophecy and not precognition.

While everyone has the ability to precognitive dream because it’s an innate ability, in my experience only a small subset of the population does it regularly and remember when they do. Most people don’t remember their dreams well enough to know if they do it or not.

An example of how to separate an ordinary dream from the extraordinary can be found in my book Dreams 1-2-3: Remember, Interpret, and Live Your Dreams. I used the case of Sugar Ray Robinson’s dream about killing his opponent in the ring. Before his welterweight bout with Jimmy Doyle in 1947, Sugar Ray dreamed that he knocked out Doyle and he subsequently died. Sugar Ray was so unnerved that he tried to back out of the fight. The fight promoter brought in a priest to assure Robinson it was “only a dream.” The rest is history.
If I was the person brought in to counsel Robinson about his dream I’d begin by asking him if the details matched waking reality. In the dream, was the arena the same as the one he was scheduled to fight in? Were the people nearby, like his trainers and the ref, the same people he anticipated to be at the fight? Discrepancies between waking reality and dream reality are a sign of personal symbolism, though precognitive dreams are known to use symbolism and metaphor, too.
Next I’d explore the possibilities for symbolism. Killing someone in a dream can express personal hostility. Was there bad blood between him and Doyle, so that Robinson felt he “could kill that guy” in the figurative sense? If so, there would be a chance the dream expressed those feelings and was not precognition.


Then I’d explore if a subconscious fear was showing itself in the dream. Fighters die in the ring, rarely but it happens. Sugar Ray had no desire to actually kill someone – he was a great fighter with a vicious punch but was an honorable sportsman. I’d ask him if he feared he could kill Doyle because Doyle had taken too many hard blows to the head.

Some digging through historical accounts of the bout uncovered this possibility. Doyle was known to have head issues. He was a tenacious Irish fighter who publicly proclaimed he was fighting Robinson to earn the money to buy his mother a house. I think it’s possible Sugar Ray’s dream reflected a fear that Doyle should not be boxing anymore, then the fear came true. The dream might not have been precognitive in the strictest sense.

Unfortunately, we can’t ask Robinson the questions needed to make that determination. However, in his autobiography Robinson wrote, “I had knocked out guys before, dozens of them. But in those fights, I always had a good feeling, a conquering feeling when I saw them being counted out, maybe because I could see that they weren’t really hurt. But now, with Doyle stretched out and his eyes blank, I had that empty feeling you get when something in your life is really wrong, and all I could think of was the dream.”
Robinson added, “You warned me, God. You told me. Why did I let everyone talk me out of it.” I think Robinson’s dream was precognitive, but it’s easier to judge after the fact.


A guy once asked me if a dream he’d had about a plane crash warned him he should not get on a flight he was scheduled to take the next day. I asked him if details from the dream matched waking reality. Was the airplane in the dream from the same airline he had booked? Was it the same type of plane? Were the airport and concourse the same? While precognitive dreams can use symbolism and metaphor, it’s not as likely to be used for details like these. What I find is, if a dream is precognitive and metaphorical, the entire dream will be metaphor, not just pieces of it.

I also asked the guy if something in his recent life could be symbolized as a plane crash. Planes take us to personal destinations. I find this dream theme often when people are beginning something new and exciting like a romantic relationship or a business venture. The guy said yes, something with his job that he’d had high hopes for recently “crashed” in the figurative sense. At the risk of being wrong I told him I did not think his dream was precognitive. I watched the news the next day with butterflies in my stomach, and fortunately there were no reports of plane crashes.

A piece of evidence used to support the existence of precognition comes from the fact that planes and trains that crash tend to have more empty seats than usual. An investigation of train crashes on the U.S. east coast during the 1950s showed that the trains that crashed or derailed had fewer passengers than the same trains on other days. The four passenger planes hijacked on September 11, 2001 had half their usual numbers of passengers.

There are many reports of people who did not take flights that crashed because they had a bad feeling.

Sometimes though the reason why people miss those flights appears to be dumb luck. For example, Seth MacFarlane was booked on American Airlines Flight 11 on the morning of September 11, 2001, but he arrived ten minutes late because his travel agent gave him the wrong departure time and he was hungover, so he was running late anyway.


Which brings me around to the best way to tell a precognitive dream from an ordinary one: intuition. It’s a gut feeling. Some people who’ve had precognitive dreams report a buzzing sound during the dreams or a ringing in their ears when they wake up. The dreams have an unusual clarity. There can be a feeling like deja vu that accompanies them.

For many people, trusting their gut feelings is a new experience. They don’t trust it and don’t know that precognition is a fact of life. If you analyze a dream that you suspect is precognitive and it a). is not related to residue from the previous day, b). is not an expression of anxiety, c). does not express a wish, and d). is not personal symbolism, then consider that it’s precognitive. But most of all, trust your gut.
The most important thing to remember is precognition is not prophecy. Precognition gives us the ability to act ahead of time, to change the possible outcome. In that way it’s more like a forecast. And forecasts can always change.

I had a dream last night I was swimming in a large pond, the weather was beautiful and the water was calm. There was a young boy, around 5 or 6 that was also swimming and I have never seen this boy in my waking life. In my dream I did not know the boy but felt the need to protect him so I swam closer to him and realized there was a small shark in the water that was going to attack the boy. I was completely calm as I grabbed the boy to shield him from the shark and just as I did the shark attacked and I woke up.... Went back to sleep only to dream that I instinctively knew there would be another terrorist attack in NYC. I felt it in my bones and I looked up and it was another 9/11 type attack- it was a quick image and next thing I knew I was in the subway and they (police or something) blocked off the entrances and exits to get out... I was panicked and woke again. I live in NYC so could this be fear from everything that's going on the world right now?  Insights?

I came across a young man who told me he was planning to move to Seattle because there are so many opportunities for him there. He talked extensively about it and he seemed really happy. Then I had to warn him that he should not move there for various reasons including the radiation from Fukushima, the possibility of an earthquake, possible volcanic eruption, something wrong with the weather, massive forest fires, and part of Seattle possibly going into the sea.

Dreamed 12-5-15 a.m.

I had no intention when I had this dream today.
I was traveling with some high school band families near Jackson Hole, Wyoming. We had a purpose for being there, some sort of event. We met some other people near us who were there for a dance event. I would assume our purpose for traveling was band related. We were getting reading to leave the outdoor valley meadow and trail area we were at and travel down the road to a campsite close to Yellowstone. Some members of our group had already traveled ahead to secure our camping spots so I was only mildly stressed about finding a place to camp. It was late afternoon. The sun was in the valley meadow and felt warm as the day was crisp. As we began our journey to the new camping site, blue grey shadows were cast along the base of the mountains and long the road which wound between the mountains.
We soon found our friends. The day was getting colder and would end soon. We were taken to a semi permanent tent building complex. It was warm inside as we entered a small restaurant . Inside my name was called and a friend I had worked with at a camp many years ago happened to find me. She hugged me and began to cry, It was a happy surprise for us both.
Soon I found our other group members and discovered we had not 3 campsites but 3 small canvas rooms attached to each other to share. We had more than 3 families so this was going to be a tight fit. I went outside and dusk was settling over the land. I noticed not far in the distance a mountain in Yellowstone Park. As the last part of the sun was setting and the grey was turning darker, a buffalo stood at the tip of the mountain. He had a small spotlight on him as he looked side to side across the valley floor in front of him with a sense of pride. This was his land. The image was similar to watching him in a zoom lens . He reminded me of a buffalo nickel. I asked one of our parent camping friends how long we were going to be able to stay here and he answered that we were leaving tomorrow. I felt sad and longed to stay.

Afterthoughts
This is an unusual dream for me. I did not wake up remembering ( not that I remember most of my dreams). Instead, I saw 3 words pop up in my Facebook newsfeed this morning. What I saw was bison, culling and Yellowstone. I did not read the article but my dream from this morning jumped right back into my head as soon as I read those 3 words. Here are 2 recent articles about Yellowstone Bison culling which will take place sometime this winter. I did not read the articles until I searched for them after recording my dream. They were written in November. I could not find the Facebook article which I searched for after recording the dream. I do not actually know what it said except for the words I mentioned.

It would seem that the sun is setting on a large amount of bison in Yellowstone.

I have dreamt of many birds on a telephone or a electricity pole. I was in front of a house where a father and his daugter lived in. I thought i will go on to the place where i live now.

The birds gathered similar as in the movie the birds of Alfred Hitchcock, i also thought of this movie in the dream.

Interpretation:

My mobilephone had no more battery, i have difficulties how to recharge it. It seems to only recharge while it is connected with a computer. So the messages could not get to me. As i finally found a computer where to recharge my battery, i have some interesting messages. I also visited a friend where i lived before.

5th of December 2015

I dreamt of me and an envelope with photos in it. Then of my sister and a woman i like. They were left and in the nature. I went up on the street. I walked left and i saw many scorpions moving from left to the right on the street.
there were supposed to come other animals as well.
I called my sister if she would come, in hope the woman i like would come as well.

Interpretation:

Yesterday i saw a man who is selling cameras, he visited as i was filling envelopes with catalogues. Aand later in the evening i saw my aunt Barbara on the St. Barbara Day, who wanted to make a horoscope of me. I have sent her en envelope with pumpkin seeds in it. We met on the street, and she told me that she has my horoscope ready. The meeting was connected with another dream where i was supposed to meet someone on the 4th of December.
I am a scorpion. So it could be seen that i meet scorpions on the street.
