The dream that I had last night consisted of three scenes back to back. Scene 1 - I was in a dark room. I knew that my husband was with me and that I had to protect him. In front of me was a man in his late twenties. He had on a tan turtleneck sweater that had intricate knitting on it. He had sandy colored hair. He was punching me in the face. Scene 2 - I was in the same dark room. I knew my husband was with me and that I had to protect him. There were two men in the room. This time using religious talk and referring to Jesus I was able to stop these men from physically hurting me. These men were middle aged and wore jeans and shirts. There was a sense of forgiveness between the three of us and they seemed spiritually changed but what transpired in the room and they left. Scene 3 - This time I actually saw my husband in the dream. We had somehow managed to get out of that dark room and we were running across a parking lot. There was a chain link fence and bright lights ahead and I knew that we were approaching a public space. I yelled to him to "run to a public place". As I turned around a saw a woman running to come get us. She had a knife in her hand. As I stood there, holding my ground, and trying to let my husband get away, I called her a name (swear word) and told her to bring it on. I remember feeling strong yet afraid because I knew I was going to have to fight her and that she had a knife. I instantly woke up from this "3 scene dream" and felt disturbed.

The set up. I take a sleep aid to help me sleep (non-narcotic.) If I don't take it I typically wake up in the middle of the night.

This week I forgot to take the sleep aid and wham I was awaken at 4 am. Strange since I went to bed at 1 am! What woke me was a terrible dream that I couldn't shake.

It was a dystopian view of the world. Everywhere I went it was grey and in ruins. There were hardly any people around and the ones that were are terrified of the times.

The dream was not that detailed - and could easily be written off as it didn't explain what caused the destruction to our world. However, what caused me to pause was I had the exact same dream the next day and I did take my sleep aid that night!

I don't have great words of wisdom with this dream and don't want to come off as preachy. Let's just say we need to be prepared, physically, spiritually and temporarily for what is coming.

I'm a mormon and have had my patriarchal blessing a few years ago. In this bless the Lord told me, the Face of the Earth will change in my life time and the Governments of men will fail. The people will be freightend. That is what my dream looked like to me.

August 2014 Project

These are more like images of remote viewing than dreams. When I went to bed intending to dream of August 2014, I kept getting an image of 'August 1914,' and had a sensation of having to force the focus back to August 2014. I think 'August 1914' was the name of a book about the start of World War I. Rightly or wrongly, 'August 2014' has the same flavor and texture as a turning point of history. We'll see how that works out!


1. Teabag hanging from a twig in the foreground. The twig has buds on the end, but no leaves. In the background is dark earth on a hillside. It is daylight. Sky is grey.

2. There is a van, maybe a minivan, with its front pressing up against a wall diagonally. It is not parked, but also not wrecked. It may have right-hand drive, like cars in England. What sort of van? Not a Ford Van, not a Chrysler Van, but a Prestwick Van. Prestwick might not be the manufacturer, maybe owner or location. Daylight again. Viewed from 10 feet above the scene.

3. Belongings bobbing in water, lots of small objects up to 1 foot across, but no dressers, cars, or large things. A person stands on a grassy area, looking at them. The water may or may not be moving. Daylight, grey sky.

Comments:
I can ask questions about the images, at least for a while. They are interactive in a limited way for about 12 hours after I see them. I don't always get an answer to my questions. Right or wrong, that's how this type of image works. Following is additional information from questions that was not part of the initial image itself.

1. It is unclear whether the dark earth in the background is burned ground or plowed dark soil. The teabag appears to be unused, dry. It has landed on the twig out of randomness, no one put it there.
2. The viewpoint of this image is about 10 feet above, looking down, consistent with dreaming perspective. The viewer may be looking down at the van over top of the wall that the front of the van is pressing on. The wall may be light colored, possibly a concrete block wall. The van and the wall appear to be dry. No other information available about the ground/street or other surroundings.
3. The image appears to move for a half-second, freezes for a half-second, then repeats. The water may be moving very fast. It may not be a river because I can't see the other side. The person on the grassy area is facing away from me, but appears to be a white woman with dark shoulder-length hair, dark pants and a dark windbreaker. Her hands are in the windbreaker pockets. She is shocked/surprised/just there, but has not had time to be distressed and/or is not grieving. There is also a deciduous tree nearby (only one) that has dark bark but no leaves. It is in its winter/dormant mode (leaves gone naturally, not torn off by wind. It is a living tree). In August, maybe this is in the Southern Hemisphere, like New Zealand, but no information available to confirm that.

I was watching two rambunctious men literally hopping around on two tightropes. The two tightropes appeared to stretch from one skyscraper to the next, but there was a catch: the tightropes were extremely loose to the point they were bouncing. Neither man was apparently fearful of the looseness; in fact, they were actually trying to bounce higher and higher, apparently to show off to anyone watching. One tightrope was positioned above the other one; they were not side to side.

The first man was bouncing on the top one and had a weird contraption to keep his feet better positioned on the rope. After a few bounces, he then jumped down to the second rope and began bouncing on that one. Then he jumped off, apparently free falling downward. He exited my view downward, because just as he jumped, the next man did the same thing…jumped onto the top rope and then jumped down the bottom one…then jumped downward.

As the second man jumped off the bottom rope, there was a text caption on the right that pointed to a thin line just under the bottom rope. I can't remember exactly what the text said, but it was there to warn me that the space below the jumpers was an illusion. A picture of skycrapers was pasted over a safety net to make it appear like they were extremely high in the air, when really, they were down very low and even had a safety net there to catch them! The caption warned me that what I was seeing was just an illusion.

The next morning, I was, of course, very perplexed about this dream, but I didn't have much time to decipher it. Midday, I ended up on my Facebook page, quickly scanning for new material that people had submitted. I couldn't believe what appeared; I read this…

20140406 -- Dream -- The Refuge
8:30 DST -- 20:28 LST

I dreamed that my wife and I were leading a normal life. I was working, we went to church on Sundays, and went about the normal business of living during the rest of the week. Then someone began speaking to me. It was like sitting in the living room watching TV, and then a second TV screen (that you never knew was there) suddenly turns itself on, and starts giving you information.

A Voice was saying, "Disasters are coming. When the first one is near, get in your car immediately and drive. You will know where to go. You will know where to turn. Go to the refuge and wait for instructions."

Not long after that, a horrific rain and wind storm slammed into the city. And we knew it was time to go. We got in the car, and I was driving through rain so hard I could barely see the road.
Just as I was wondering if I was a complete lunatic, I knew I had to turn right at an exit. We went down a 2-lane road, nearly being blown off it. Miles later, I knew I had to make a right turn into a driveway that went up a hill. There was a wall around the property with posts on either side of the driveway that held statues. The one on the left was broken off, but the one on the right was a statue of Mr. Peabody (Yes, the scholarly dog with the Wayback machine and adopted boy named Sherman from the Rocky and Bullwinkle show).

As we turned into the driveway, a ghost rose from the ground as if to pass into the car. The Voice from the second screen said, "Drive through. It is only for security. It will not harm you." We drove through it, and it vanished.

We drove up the hill on the old driveway and parked on the side. There were several cars there already. A middle-aged lady came out of the house. We had never seen her before. "Welcome," she said. "This is your refuge. Come inside and have some dinner." There were 10 to 12 people around the table, and a full dinner was set. We ate and talked about our plans and dreams. It was like coming home. We all stayed overnight-- The rooms available matched the people who had come, no more, no less.

The next morning, our hostess said, "Danger is passed, you may go home now. You may find that you can't remember much about the refuge or how you got here. That is a security. When the next disaster comes, you will be able to find the Refuge again, don't worry." And it was true. We got home and vaguely remembered the Refuge, but did not speak about it to anyone, not even each other.

A tree had fallen through the roof of our house, taking out the Master Bedroom and the dining room. Our neighbors had similar damage to their houses. Some were worse. Yet when we talked with them, they acted like there was nothing unusual about living in a partly-destroyed house.

"Since everyone in the neighborhood had this kind of damage," our next-door neighbor told me, "my realtor says the property value is not affected."

"The anchorman says all the home damage will be good for the economy," said the man across the street. "Maybe it will bring us out of the recession. I'm going to buy stock in construction on Monday."

Everyone continued to live in their half-destroyed houses. We tried to fix ours, but we were the only ones. People began to think of us as eccentric. A blue FEMA bus came by one day, with a Homeland Security emblem on it. They questioned us about where we had been on the night of the storm.
"We mostly just drove around, I guess," I told them. I couldn't quite tell them about the Refuge.

There were two more disasters in the dream, but details are lacking. The second involved seas of mud everywhere. Some just coated the ground and roads, some was many feet deep, as in Oso, Washington. We made it to the Refuge again, following the navigation of the Second Screen Voice. The air was rainy, and mud covered all road markings. When we got home, most of the house was gone. Many of our neighbors were simply sitting in the middle of their muddy lots, still not understanding that they were in disaster.

The third disaster came soon after the second one. Extreme heat set the forests on fire and baked the mud to terra-cotta. It was in hexagonal scales an inch thick, coating everything. We still made it to the Refuge, even though the smoke of the fires made it impossible to see anything through the windows of our car. When we turned into the driveway, the smoke was cleared from the Refuge, but the statue of Mr. Peabody was coated in terra cotta scales. So was the driveway. The Refuge house was gone and so was the hostess, yet it was still somehow the Refuge.

One other person was already there, so we parked, and sat next to her on the terra-cotta scales near the top of the hill, watching the smoke blow by the end of the driveway. None of us were particularly concerned.

"What happens next?" I asked our new old friend.

"Maybe the Voice will tell us," she said.

This disaster dream has elements of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. Not sure where to put it. Despite the craziness and disaster, it had a hopeful and confident feeling (ie., no feelings of dread or foreboding associated with it)

20140419 -- Dream -- Returned Bandaged Child
7:55 EST, 20:40 LST

In the dream, I was living in a rancher (one story house with basement) in a suburb in Northern Virginia. It was Summer, about 8 PM. I was washing dishes when I became aware of lots of road noise. My wife asked me to look out the window and see what was going on. There was a convoy of green military trucks with cloth hoop tops over the flatbeds. Some were driving by the house, but a large number of them had assembled in a line with their headlights shining in the windows on the road side of the house. The engine noise was deafening, but I could also hear snatches of commands from a megaphone outside. I could not understand what they were saying.

My wife and I backed up to the back of the house, but there was light coming in the back too. Trucks had driven into the back yard, and lined up with their lights coming in the back windows. I called 9-1-1. The 911 operator was not aware of any military emergency, and agreed to send police to investigate. As I hung up the phone, the trucks in front started driving towards the house. I thought that they were planning to drive through it. My wife fled to the basement.

Through the blind, I saw a couple of army people on motorcycles, stopped with their feet on the ground. I went out the front door to see what they wanted.
A soldier dismounted the cycle and walked towards me in battle gear with a helmet on. I remember being surprised at how thin and short the soldier was, decided it was a woman, then still thought she was short and thin for a woman. She motioned me over to talk, where I could hear her in spite of the engine noise.

This dream happened about one year ago....I was riding shotgun in a car right on I35 not a few miles from my house, and asteroids, small meteors started raining down on the interstate....when I had the dream I was employed, and the woman that was driving the car was someone who I had briefly met the week earlier. I knew that in order for me to be riding in a car with this person, I would have to be unemployed. I am now unemployed, but I have not reaquainted myself with this person, however, I have been considering it as she works with an agency which helps people start their own small business. My main thoughts now are, the first part of my dream has come true, me being unemployed. This dream definitely had a precognitive feel to it and for me, it means there will be this kind of shower over Austin, Texas.

I didn't feel like a character in this dream. I felt more like a video camera that was recording a man and woman, who were both closely observing a juggling act.

The camera was close in on the male, and his eyes were rapidly moving back and forth, intently watching the juggler. After a few seconds, he yelled at his son: "Tyler, are you watching this?! You have to keep your eyes on 'em! Are you watching?! I need you to take over, you've got to keep your eyes glued!" I had no idea what was being done behind the camera because the camera stayed on this man's bulging eyes.

Eventually, it became clear...many knives were being tossed in the air in a juggling act. What this has to do with August, I haven't a clue.

I just woke up from the craziest dream and decided to document it here because it happened just as I woke up. First, I was at some conference and I was looking for someone that was of high regard from the NGH of which I am a member(National Guild of Hypnotist). I found the person I was looking for and they were in a clear box and it looked like they were sleeping. (More dream here but this is all that's relevant now)

Then there were some neighbor kids at my house and they were all playing in my daughters' room. I am in my room right next door cleaning when I hear my daughter crying hysterically. I go running next door and I see her cuddled up in the corner of the room crying with her big sister right next to her looking at a screen where the bigger neighbor kids have put on a horribly scary movie/game (a shoot em' up kind of game-the kids are holding remote controls even though we don't have games at our house in real life). I yell at them to turn it off and tell them that they are never to do that in my house ever again. I turn it off and go running to my daughter and I wake up. In real life...I wake up with my heart racing and hear my daughter crying hysterically and I go running to her and she is curled up in a ball in the bed having a nightmare. I wake her from her nightmare.

After getting her back to sleep, I decide to come to DreamBase to log that part of my dream, I had to go to my inbox to get my password that I couldn't remember in my still-dreamy state when my inbox message is from the NGH with a message that states "Dear Guild member,
We were notified this morning that one of our profession's pioneers, ******, passed away...
