1/1/2012 about 5:30am. I dreamed that something woke me up and I walked to the bedroom window to see what it was. I looked towards the town and there were large planes dropping bombs and the bombs were exploding causing massive damage. I said to my husband "Wake up, we have to go, they're dropping bombs". He said something to the effect of "why bother, ifone of thosebombs hitsthe housewe'll be just as dead hiding in the basement as we would staying here in the bedroom". I remember thinking it was strange that theystarted bombing the night after a holiday, that the event would have had more impacton the people andthe media if it had been on the holiday itself.
We live in a small town in a fairly rural area of New Hampshire, so it's not likely thatanyone wouldbe bombing us in any case.

I had a dream about 2 or 3 nights ago [just after Christmas] that I was with my wife and our 16 month old. I had the impression we were supposed to be in Asia, but the scenery was just a kind of suburban looking area- houses close together, some stoackde fences between little yards.

We were walking in a park that had a little pond in it. All of a sudden the water started to rise. It was not like a geyser. The water just quickly and calmly started to rise and spread out. Over the course or several steps my son went from being on dry ground to just having his head above water. He is about 34 inches tall- so maybe the water was 30 inches above what had just been dry ground.

We turned and walked back up to dry land ahead of the water. As we walked through this neighborhood, I realized it was deserted. It was beginning to get dark and I noted some paper Chinese type lanterns hanging on some of the front porches as the orange-y street lights came on.

I don't typically recall my dreams, so I thought it was noteworthy that I still remember this one clearly after several days.

This morning I dreamed about watching an airplane take off. It was an American Airlines plane, and it took off very steeply and tried to start a turn but wound up falling upside down right where it had started. No people were hurt, and I watched out the window as everyone got off and collected their loved ones and possessions. I was then outside and set my purse down by the wall of the airport terminal. I then was walking with the passengers in a hallway and remembered my purse and went back to get it. In the process, I realized that a few of the passengers were coming back for their items also and I helped them locate their items. It was an interesting dream and it feels like one of those dreams that mean something, but I"m not sure what it means at this time.
Comment (12/30/2011): I find it interesting that AA filed for bankruptcy late in November, and that my Dad is a retired AA pilot.

I dream that see a large black tornado coming toward me and I am rush to get some where safe. I come back out and then see another smaller one. I feel anxious. I aware that it is the wrong time of year for tornados (winter).

I had this dream in mid-december, 2011. The dream was crystal clear, like a movie playing. I remember it perfectly, unlike most dreams. It was a beautiful, clear, Spring day. I was up on a mountain, south of Portland, Oregon, looking down on the city. I could see the rivers and bridges. I was with a bunch of people who were survivalists of some sort. Suddenly, the city was hit by a nuclear bomb. The group I was with seemed upset but unsurprised; "the powers that be always meant to kill us" was my thought. After the dust cleared, we could see a huge mushroom cloud way north, and we understood that Seattle had been bombed as well, and that it was happening all over the world.

My son ( bigger boy) had this dream last night.
He dreamt that he was at home, but that home was different. "Home" was a sophisticated laboratory, full of chemistry equipment and high tech computers. A picture on one of the computer screens showed massive rocks full of fire being spat out of the surface of the sun. They were headed for the earth and when they hit the earth, there was great devastation. One of the scientists cried out, "We have a week to warn everyone" and another cried out, "We have a year until it comes!" The amazing and interesting part of this dream is that my son had it in the early morning hours of December 22, 2011, or in New York time, early afternoon on December 21st, 2011! In other words, exactly one year from December 21st 2012!
The earth was shattered into pieces and each piece had it's own atmosphere. Various countries or land masses had their own planets and humans continued to live there. Australia had it's own planet and so did New Zealand. Part of Africa had it's own planet, but part of it was utterly destroyed. All of North America was utterly destroyed but all of South America had it's own planet. It was difficult to tell what happened to Europe and Asia.Parts of the Pacific Islands had their own planets and parts were destroyed by tsunamis
Ok, now for my interpretation and commentary. I believe my son was seeing at a high energy state what will happen to the Earth on December 21st, 2012. I believe the firey rocks are CMEs and that the shattering of the earth into seperate planets is the shutdown of communications between continents. Maybe "shutdown" is too gentle a word. Maybe annihilation or deep frying or shattering would be more appropriate. Anyway, the era of globalism will be ended at that point. It is also interesting to note that all the surviving "planets" were southern hemisphere. All the planets that were either devastated or not able to be seen were northern hemisphere.

I dreamed that my family and I were staying at a motel in Canada. After dinner, my son told me that he was planning to import giant cockroaches from Canada into the US. I explained (with difficulty) that the US has too many cockroaches already. We herded the cockroaches back into the Canadian woods, and they sounded like stampeding cattle as they went.

I was with a group of friends at an airport where fighter jets were. 4-6 of them scrambled to get up at the same time and were coming down intersecting runways, but somehow they avoided each other as they took off. Next thing I know I'm waking up in an old house full of antique furniture. I realize that the person I'm visiting shares the house with several people and I think, "Oh, this must be some place that's very expensive to live in." No one is home, the house is empty. I look out the window and realize I'm in San Francisco and i'm so upset. I don't want to be here and all that I can figure out is that while I slept my 'friends' or someone flew me here. They must've drugged me to get me here. I feel an initial jolt of a really bad earthquake. I run out the back door and up a steep mountain. I'm running and I look back and see that all along the water's edge it looks like it's boiling, but I know that huge pieces of shoreline are tumbling into the depths. I reach the top of this pointy mountain and I don't know what to do as the whole thing feels unstable, like it's just a pile of loose dirt essentially. I say aloud, "this isn't going to hold back the ocean!" I look and see people in town running for a stable area somewhere there that is solid rock and I know I need to get there. Suddenly my perspective has changed and I'm seeing some people, possibly friends, at their workplace. They work in a kitchen in a restaurant, which is a Victorian house. I'm seeing big fryers and grease and thinking, "this isn't going to be good, they need to get out of that place." Then I see the first jolt (which I've already lived through) hit them. They all brace themselves, then laugh as if it's over, but I know it's not, that this is the start of a huge, long event. I want them to get out and run to the stone hill or place that is stable, but they can't hear me, of course, I'm just seeing this but not there.
I've been to SF and I don't recognize the mountain I ran up in the dream to escape the incoming water, nor do I know where the stable rock area would be in the area, that would safe.

Same suburban setting as the UFO dream I just reported recently. Blue sky, newer upper scale suburban neighborhood, this time totally vacant. I'm not sure how I got there or what came before or after, but at some point I was there, looking around and watching as the flood waters were rising. The area was not level and the gentle downhill slope led to a rising lake of black water, still and perfectly smooth. No people, no wind, no sound. Just very slowly rising black water which was clear on top like water, but black below like stagnant ponds can be.

This was a very long and detailed dream. Part anxiety and part UFOs and monsterous machines. Much of this dream was dominated by very obvious symbology and caricatures from the classic War of the Worlds movie.
It started on a sunny Fall afternoon. I was running errands with my teenage son, driving around in a suburban area on the main drags near businesses and strip malls. The trees were still full of colored leaves and the sun was lowering to the horizon. A report came over the radio of "another" attack beginning in another town and I was thinking we had some time to get ready. This was not the case.
Things changed very quickly into a more panicked mode. My son says "look, they're here already" and we look to the sky to see the usual "fireflies" I see as UFOs in the upper atmosphere. Swirling and swooping formations of star-like lights. Only now they are red and a little larger, yet still just lights. Also they are streaming in a direction pointing to outside of town. I got the idea that they would be landing and approaching our area on the surface.
At this point we made some decisions and the anxiety part of the dream really started. My son and I were on foot for some reason and the car was maybe a mile away where we left it. I needed to go somewhere else very important before we were going to leave town to our retreat. So I handed my keys to my son and said "Get the car, get the guns and meet me at the place" He left at a jog.
I proceeded to visit several people's apartments for one reason or another, none explained, just a clear idea of going from point A to B to C to D. On foot, light fading, doom approaching. During this long interlude I had several "flashbacks" to the first time this threat had attacked. This is where the War of the Worlds comes in.
The flashbacks were of large three legged machines with tentacles marching about destroying cities and towns and blasting things with energy beams. I "recalled" myself hiding from one of the tentacle-eyes in a room. The machine apparently unable to detect me under a blanket. Terror.
Unlike most anxiety dreams I have like this, I actually accomplished my mission and headed to the house where my son was to meet me. I caught a ride at the last stop I made in suburbia. He was there with a big duffle bag filled with several rifles and hand guns and a ton of ammo. Just then the smoke and sound on the horizon caught our attention just as the last light of the day was fading.
