Texas again…but when?

Texas again…but when?

This news comes courtesy of “WJ.” It’s short and sweet and comes on the heels of the canceled Red Alert about Texas. Granted, the topic is pretty far removed from the initial prediction about Houston or Dallas, but we do notice that Texas is again front and center.

Basically, for all those Project August fans, we have several previously unrelated PA headlines that are coming to a head down in southern Texas:

Headline #2: The Bundy Ranch Goes Nuclear! (This was the first indication of a trend toward armed militias vs armed governmental bodies…the meme has only strengthened)

Headline #37: Border guards foil a hijacking plan

Headline #109: Fatalities mount in border standoff. National Guardsman first military casualty in border crisis.

Texas Police Prepare to Defend International Bridges From Militia Groups

by Bob Price 14 Sep

MISSION, Texas — Authorities prepare to use “whatever force is necessary” to defend international bridges between Texas and Mexico from U.S. based militia groups. The preparations by Texas law enforcement agencies are in response to recently discovered plans by militia groups to attempt closing several international bridges. The militia groups’ plans are intended to be protests against the federal government’s failure to secure the border between the U.S. and Mexico. The plans call for militia groups to begin blocking traffic on an undisclosed number of international bridges in the Rio Grande Valley on Sept. 20th, 2014.

“We will not allow these groups to disrupt the economic commerce of our region and we are prepared to use force to keep the bridges open,” said one law enforcement officer who spoke with Breitbart Texas on the condition of anonymity. The officer explained that the bridges are not symbols of illegal immigration, but rather, they are vital parts of the local economy. “We cannot allow them to be shut down by lawless behavior from people who claim to be promoting the rule of law.”

Implications Obvious

The implications are obvious, so I won’t insult your intelligence about WHAT can happen, but WHY and WHEN could be some relevant questions.

First, the WHY. Why is the government so hell bent on using “whatever force is necessary?” Are they afraid that the militias are going to slaughter a bunch of people? Is the government going to save lives here? Hardly. It all comes down to money:

“Villarreal also expressed his concern about the economic aspects of the bridges. “A port of entry is not just a port of entry for people; it’s also a port of entry for commerce. There are hundreds of millions of dollars that transact at the ports of entry. If their intent is to cause a disruption at a port of entry, it’s not only a matter of people, it’s a matter of commerce as well,” he said. “

Wow, speechless. But hey, at least their honest!

As for the WHEN, 20th of September was reported, but how many of these big plans tend to get delayed? If the dreams are right here, don’t expect any big scuffles until September is over.

and speaking of Proj Aug…
