I was going to work in a building that on the inside was a giant cave, taller than the Grand Canyon and possibly as long. I was an art restorer, copier, and cataloger. My Mother was the leader of this great big job. There were large 20ft by 25ft squares painted on the walls and each square was filled with the most beautiful paintings. They went 20 squares up and many many squares horizontal.
My Mother was dressed in Victorian black, widow's clothing. I introduced her to a young man that was going to work with the teams. He spoke only French and she answered him in French. She took immediate dislike of him. I did not understand her intense dislike.
My boyfriend came to see me at work and gave me a gift of French perfume. I dabbed a bit on my wrist and my Mother went ballistic! She was yelling and cussing at me, I was very embarrassed and my boyfriend left unhappy.
I was talking to a work mate about my Mother's reaction and she said "Did you not know about her romance from her youth. She was in love with a young Frenchman.
He and his Mother made a fool of her and caused her to be disgraced. Now she hates the French. Your perfume reminded her of all that."

I started looking at the paintings trying to decide how anyone could steal them, and wondering who painted them.

very confusing dream. My Mother is dead, never spoke any language other than English and as far as I know never had a sad romance. I have no boyfriends. I am not involved in art other then enjoying some of it. I don't wear perfume.

I woke up totally confused!

I had almost talked myself out of posting this because it was so dark, but if I'm going to be true to this, I need to buckle down.

I'm driving in a car with my ex. It's nighttime, and we appear to be in an urban setting. He is driving, and we're passing closed gas stations and businesses. He's talking about how his life is going lately, nothing crazy, I don't even remember what was said.

Next thing I know, he has turned down this remote back road, and it's very dark and gloomy, in a swampy setting. We pass what looks like a warehouse or junkyard, and there are several men outside hanging out. They are dirty, and have this air of desperation about them. Not necessarily evil, but I am a bit frightened and I'm glad we pass quickly.

Unfortunately we come to the end of the road, in a dirt parking lot in front of another warehouse. There is a pond on the right side of the car, and it's filthy and has an oily sheen to it. Kind of gleams yellow and green in the light from the warehouse parking lot. We turn around, and next thing I know, we are no longer driving, but walking. My ex gets way ahead of me, and then I realize I'm trapped in a small enclosure with no ceiling. I can see him ahead, but I don't think he can hear me. I am worried about the men we passed, so I start to try and climb out, but everything I touch, mostly bookshelves and small statues and busts for some reason, turn to decayed earth and break apart in my hands. I really can't get caught, so I try to jump up to the top of the wall, when my alarm goes off.

There are a couple of events coming up that people might be interested in.....assuming the world can hold out that long. That reminds me, the dream collection phase of Project September is nearing the end. I will most likely be conducting some linguistics analysis tomorrow, so while dreams can still be dreamt about Project September, we do need to get a move on with the analysis phase. The DreamForecasters and Elders will notice a pun included in that last statement, based on what appears to be the top meme in the PS dreams.

And now for the external events. Neither of these upcoming events are mandatory for anyone. I present them here simply because people probably have not heard about them. The NDC does not sanction either one, nor are we receiving any sort of incentive for advertising them.



PsiberDreaming Online Conference: Sept 27 - Oct 11, 2015. Numerous presenters, including the NDC's presentation called Project August: A Psi Revolution, provide pdf papers about various dream topics. Conference attendees read the presentations online and then ask live questions to the presenters via discussion forum.

A free course in Corpus Linguistics: Sept 28, ongoing for 8 weeks. I actually know nothing about Lancaster University, nor the professor, Tony McEnery, and thus I cannot make any recommendations about whether to consider taking this course. I can only say that for me personally, one who works with DREAM corpus linguistics on a daily basis, that I am actually signed up for this course. Linguistics is something that is still fairly new to me, and I want to learn about different ways to work with the data and even different strategies to collect it, interpret it, and present it.

The title of the course is Corpus Linguistics: Method, Analysis, Interpretation. I was hoping that the NDC operations could be enhanced by knowing a little more about corpus linguistics.

About 3 feet of water covering the surface of my town had created a situation where people now traveled in rafts instead of cars. I was out in my yellow inflatable life raft when the tiny engine battery ran down. I stopped at JC Penney's where I was in the lobby trying to charge my battery in their outlet. A woman saw me and became angry saying "She thinks it is okay to plug into someone else's outlet just because her mother did it in 1969 when energy was cheap!"

I don't know what caused the water to be 3 ft high.

Dreamed 8-31-2015- the wee hours of the morning.

I did the September intention. Dream time was around 5:30 AM.

In the dream, I am driving a car. I don't know the specific type, I believe some type of sedan, not a super high end luxury model. I am driving someplace with one of my friends. We start to head into an area that is a canyon on both sides; the lanes are somewhat wide, and there are more curves in the road. The road is going downhill, and the grade picks up so it is steeper. I hit the brakes, but they aren't doing anything, so I decide I'd better drive really well. It is still two way traffic. I see one person is going over the midway divider; I swerve to the right and avoid a head-on collision. My fried in the passenger seat says "yeah, they designed these roads to be really wide because that happens a lot". I keep going, its not like I can stop, the brakes weren't working. Another car comes into my lane and I have to dodge it again. The curves in the road now have very steep banking, almost like a race track, which keeps the cars on the road.

Up ahead is a tunnel. As I go into the tunnel, the grade becomes extraordinarly steep. I turn the lights on, but the grade is so steep I am seeing the ceiling, not the road in front of me. This goes on for a short time, and then it levels out. The car now slows down and stops on its own - right at a toll booth. I pay the toll and we go into wherever it was we were going. My friend says there's a cruise terminal to the right, but we don't want to go there.

Dream ends.

NOTE: I would say I was a little nervous doing the driving, but not especially so. Even when the cars were coming head-on, it was not really a scary thing.

Has me wondering if we're going to see more roller-coaster action in the stock market come the end of September. Or maybe the universe is just trying to say buckle up, its going to be a wild ride.

It’s just about as close to a Red Alert as you can possible get without going over. Remember the old Hawaii wave meme from late 2014? Well, it’s back, but with a slight twist. Tsunamis can create waves, but the word Wave appears to be absent.

I’m noticing how Group 1 can be connected to Group 2 in the diagram below, but what about Nuclear (see the red arrows)? This is day number 2 with Nuclear in the run, and nuclear could cause both a Tsunami to Rise (Group 1) or perhaps it could open a Portal near an Island (Group 2).

In summary, Wow [we] Want [an] Adventure Amazing.

I start out at the doctor's office (day residue). But as the doctor is examining me, he keeps focusing on the osteoarthritis in my knee (not his area of expertise). He tells me that I should get that looked at before it becomes a problem, and it will in the future. (It's really not a problem, and the original injury occurred in high school, a loooong time ago hahahaha). I can't figure out why he should think it will be a problem.

Next thing, I'm at home, but it doesn't look like my house, and my deceased mother is there too. She apparently is living with me. We're expecting guests, but I'm desperately trying to get some work done that I've brought home with me. (day residue). I see our neighbor's parakeet outside again (I have no neighbor with one that I know of), and I go out to capture him. But as he almost lands on my hand, I realize one of my cats is across the street and two little girls are trying to get my attention, so I let the bird go and grab my cat instead. I thank the girls and take her back inside the house. I wander back to the kitchen, and as I do so, I realize the house is decorated for Christmas. I think to myself, it's not Christmas but it looks nice and festive, so I'll go along with it.

I go back out to the front porch, and I notice that these weird fat, gray scorpions keep crawling out of the grass, and when they do, the fire ants all leave. I point this out to my boyfriend and another friend, and we all agree it's weird. We have some kind of scorpions in Florida, but not in this region that I know of. We see it happen multiple times.

I ask my boyfriend if he knows which neighbor owns the parakeet. He points out a house across the street, but facing the cross street. The lot on the corner is now an empty grassed lot (where the little girls were previously in front of their house). I should point out this doesn't resemble my neighborhood at all, and the house he points out looks like what we call a "northern house". It's a hulking, two story house made of wood, on what looks like a double lot. It's surrounded by a lot of trees, and it's painted a dark dusty gray blue. It looks like what we call "haunted". (We call them haunted when they are foreclosed on and no one is living there. Tall grass, an abandoned look.) I think to myself that if I catch the parakeet, I don't know if I want to go over there, because it doesn't look safe.

Just then a neighbor and his young son go past the house on a surfboard that has wheels. I realize a lot of the neighbors are grilling in the street, and a party is going on. The neighbor ends up not being able to control the board, and jumps off with his son and lets it crash into someone's grill. They're all laughing, but the son is crying, and I'm irritated with the dad for not being more careful.

Even though there seems to be a lot of festivities and partying going on, it seems forced somehow. (Parties in the street, Christmas at the wrong time of year). The reality is there is a darkness underneath everything (scorpions, spooky houses) and no one is acting in a responsible manner.

Intention: "What will be the state of the world on September 30, 2015?" 2 dreams from the night of August 28, 2015. Much stronger emotional content in these dreams. Day residue= My grandson Mason started Kindergarten this week.

Underground play space, more beds and sleeping: I am keeping my grandson overnight. The parents have gone out for a romantic evening. Mason and I are playing in a large underground indoor space. All open with no walls. The small section we are in is well lit with toys, an area rug and little learning stations like I remember from kindergarten. Adjacent is an art area with fancy garage type flooring. The space goes back for such a great distance that it is dark and I can't see how really large this space is. After a while a group of maybe sorority girls come in and start working on an arts and crafts project. A little later a large group of children and some coaches come in like a youth athletics group and go back toward the dark area. It becomes light back there and I can see there is an indoor sports field and they are going to play a game. Probably baseball. I tell Mason it's time to go and we start to leave. My sister comes in and we begin to talk about something in a basket. The next thing I know I am waking up in my bed. I can't remember getting in bed, I can't remember putting Mason to bed! I panic and jump out of bed. Where is Mason? I'm so afraid. I run to the other side of the room and see Mason asleep on the other side of the bed beside my husband. Mason has EKG wires attached to his chest. I am so relieved to see Mason safe I don't even ask why he has on EKG electrodes. I ask my husband when he put Mason to bed but he doesn't answer me - he's sleeping. I go and get back in on my side of the bed and realize I am not awake. This is a dream. I wake up.

Earthquake with underground water waves and chased in the basement: I am on vacation in a large southern US city. I have bought boxes and boxes of flea market/ thrift store type stuff. A small earthquake happens. I start loading my boxes into my car which looks like an old blue station wagon. I see a closed circuit TV video of an underground swimming pool with bleachers on both long sides of the pool. Another bigger earthquake occurs and I can see the water in the pool making large waves and water splashing out. The waves get bigger and more violent. A large black net falls from the ceiling across the whole pool and people are trapped under it. The shaking stops. A large man comes outside and is angry with me because I am leaving in "his time of need". I decide to stay and help. I start to unpack my car and take a box back into the hotel which is more like a bed and breakfast. A portion of the second floor has collapsed and fallen into the first floor. A bedridden women is trapped in rubble and must be rescued she is surrounded by a hydroponic gardening system with green vines, cucumbers and squash. Someone asks me what I would do if there is another earthquake. I answer that I would load up my stuff and go. This makes the hotel owners angry and they go to get a gun to kill me because I would desert them. I am scared and run downstairs to a basement to hide. A women named Rose is down there. She is very sick, pale, sweaty, confused. I think she is having a diabetic reaction. A nurse comes to help her. I tell her how important it is we get home. I hear the people with guns coming. I try to hide, then my family shows up and begins to fight the gun people off. My son gets shot in the eye with a nail gun. Then I am at a hospital. Its chaos with people running around confused. The hospital has been "hacked".

Woke too early this morning. As I was going back to sleep I saw the following:

1. Saw the words: UN General Assembly 2015.
2. Saw a huge white Horse galloping.
