Looks awesome and reminded me of a thinking cap. Then sorta like a dome on top of the head/brain where our dreams are delivered to us from. Yeah, I thought, that really *is the "dream center." Way cool. Sincere compliments to whomever thought of and/or designed this.

Maysea's Trophy Case |

This is Precognition Trophy #1 for Maysea
Overall Score (What-Where-When): 4 - 4 - 4
(Score Format = WHAT-WHERE-WHEN)
Scoring
What - 4 - Subject (active shooter) is similar to the story; the verb(s) (shooting a weapon and people dying) is exact. This combination produces a 3 to 3.5, but the dreamer comes up with amazing extra details that are very unique (such as the students that match UCLA campus, the red brick buildings, and even the lettering on the clothing). The extra details compensate for the shooter being someone different in the dream. Total points for the what component = 4.
Where - 4 - The dream sequence has many different details which metaphorically match the UCLA campus, making this section a full 5. However, according to the scoring protocol, a decrement is subtracted because the metaphors were not identified as a specific location until after the fact. Therefore, 4 points.
When - 4 - The event took place within a week of the dream. Thus, 4 points.
We verified this precognitive dream with the following justification:
The Dream "Active Shooter with Celebrities" (5/26/16) http://nationaldreamcenter.com/forum18/T...elebrities
Dream: I'm in a unfamiliar city, at a hospital...waiting to see a specialist. I have arrived much to early for my appointment. So I decide to wonder outdoors while I wait. There is like a courtyard outdoors. Hills, trees, flowers, and grass. It is a beautiful sunny day. There are seniors sitting on benches and all types of younger folk enjoying the park like court yard. It is surrounded by large brick buildings, medical...there are men weed eating and such...grounds keepers. They are wearing black or dark navy blue nylon jackets with white or yellow lettering. I'm enjoying the sun and nature. Suddenly, someone screams, I turn and see one of the men has pulled a gun and just shot someone! I look around and see all the working men pull guns and start shooting. I'm running for cover and see Donna from that 70's show, being shot! I jump down a embankment, lay still, there are other people hiding there. I make the "shhh" motion at them. Suddenly, Meg Ryan jumps up, screaming and trys to run. Her face is splattered in blood and dirt? The panick look frozen into my mind. Next scene, its over...I'm helping a old boy to his feet. I ask if he's ok. He smiles at me and replys, "I was not afraid. I served in the armed forces."

No intention set
I'm sitting in a coffee shop with a guy I don't know but am apparently seeing. He's drinking coffee, I'm drinking iced tea. The coffee shop is busy, filled with people, and noisy with all the talking, sounds of dishes and flatware clinking, and classic rock on the sound system. For those who are familiar with the restaurants, it reminds me a lot of an older Jim's. The man and I are visiting, talking and laughing. We seem to have an easy relationship, as if we've known each other and been friends a long time.
Suddenly there's a crash, dishes breaking. We look around. Several people at different tables have stood. One person, a man dressed in business casual, reaches out and grabs the woman sitting next to him. He hauls her to her feet, and proceeds to rip out her throat with his teeth. She screams, a high-pitched shocked and pained shriek that suddenly cuts to a gurgle. Other patrons begin screaming and making a mad dash to the exits. The other people who had suddenly stood began grabbing at people. Some manage to evade the grab, others don't, and the ones who don't meet the same end as the unfortunate woman...who begins jerking and twitching on the floor amongst all the blood and gore.
The man and I slowly and carefully leave our seats and begin inching, creeping towards the door to the kitchen. The main exits are crammed with frantic people trying to escape. They aren't paying attention as the blood-spattered people shamble towards them. Someone in the rear looks back and sees the zombies coming and begins yelling for people to hurry, they're coming, oh god, they're coming.
As my friend and I slip through the kitchen door, the zombies reach the press of people. The screaming really begins. Sounds of fighting. Furniture and glass breaking. My friend takes a mop handle and shoves it through the door handles, effectively keeping the door closed. We look around. The cooks are eyeing us and their expressions are odd. Empty yet hungry and I murmur that I think we haven't improved our situation any. No shit, says my friend. He grabs a butcher knife from a rack. I snag onto a broom, quickly break off the bristle part, and hold the handle in front of me like a cudgel. My friend tells me that if something happens, don't worry about him and to get myself to safety. That if it comes down to it, he'll do what he has to do to buy me time to get away. Screw that, I say, If it comes down to it, we both go down together. He doesn't look at me as he says, Too late for that. I glance at him and his expression is changing. He's beginning to change, to become one of the zombies. He gives me one last sad look and says, I'm sorry. No, I tell him as I impale him with the broken end of the broomstick, I'm sorry. He falls to the floor, looks up at me, and smiles. Mouths the words Thank you. Then he topples over and is still. I pick up the knife and hold it out in front of me. The kitchen staff is coming for me now, shambling towards me. I won't let them change me, won't let them hurt me. I'll take myself out first if I can't get out of here in one piece. I start backing up, backing up, not taking my eyes off the zombies coming at me. I stumble over a body, the waitress who had brought our coffee. Her eyes shoot open and she grabs for my ankle. I've got nowhere to go and I can't take all of them by myself. I've got to do this before they're on me. I take a deep breath, aim the knife at my gut...and I woke up.
I have no notes for this one beyond it was like I was part of a zombie movie, but it was real. No explanation, no warning, nothing. One second everything was fine and the next it wasn't.

Reverse Rain Dance... For you Edna! |

I will share with you my secret practice of the rain-stopping dance....
1. Take one newly married husband out of nice, warm bed at 8am on a Sunday morning.
2. Dress him and yourself nicely with layers of long johns, Army ponchos, fairly waterproof boots and lots of gloves, bring a trusty chainsaw.
3. Say goodbye to your heated, dry house with 3 cuddling cats to enter the steady rainfall in 43* weather.
4. Drive to riding stable where wife's trainer and equally crazy friends/boarders (along with one other husband!) are awaiting.
5. Regroup in the back 100, with a large farm truck that has flatbed trailer attached.
6. Commence trimming ~6' waterlogged pine boughs and loading onto trailer and truck.
7. Repeat for 2 hours until bottom half of jeans are soaked and trailer has reached maximum capacity of pine.
8. Rendezvous to trainer's house for a quick cup of coffee/tea/adult beverage and then head off to race grounds where Mother Nature greets you with a nice drizzling spray.
9. Leave warm, defrosting car once more for a fairly saturated 1 1/2mi turf track. Remove pine boughs from trailer and artfully place on steeplechase fences, make sure you whap yourself good in the face at least once with a sappy branch.
10. Repeat the dressing of fences 7x for the next 2 hours. At least 2 people at all times must be walking fence to fence to ensure the dance is properly done!
11. Return to cars, where you strip off all soaked clothing without having the neighbors alert authorities.
NOTE: If your fingers are dry, you've done something wrong and the sun will not grace you with its presence.
Bask in the sun shining through the clouds!
Feel free to use this whenever you see fit! I'm sure variations will arise...
