Not a big intense dream but vivid and strange nonetheless...

In my waking hours I've been trying to reach a friend over some business we have to complete.

Last night I dreamt that I was calling his phone, getting either no answer or his message, repeatedly. On the last attempt, his wife answered, sounded angry, passes the phone to my friend and he says "Dude, it's like 3:25am..."

In my dream I realized that it was in fact the middle of the night and apologized profusely and said I didn't know what had gotten into me and agreed to call back during waking hours, apologized again, and hung up.

This woke me up. I thought that the dream was so vivid and without the usual obvious dream artifacts that I must have called him in my sleep. My phone record shows no calls made, and I haven't spoken with my friend yet today.

Last night I dreamed I saw broken human bodies falling from the sky.

I dreamed that as I was walking into my family room area, I looked up and out the top two large windows which view the sky.
I saw white clouds quickly formig into Angles with horns. The formations were ultra detailed, and there was not guess work as to what
they were. There were many of them forming, and quickly moving about the sky area. I called to my husband to come see as there
was something going on. I walk outside to view this incredible site, and as I turned there was another large formation which had developed, agian ultra, ultra detailed... it was the 12 deciples with Jesus right in the middle, they were all seated at a large table and behind them was an incredibly large pair of wings..
Subsequently I have had two more dreams of being raptured into the sky.

Someone was talking to me about a tree that collapsed. It was a very significant thing that this tree collapsed. It was very large and old. I was then shown the tree. It was laying over a good portion of Earth. I could not see the top or the roots of the tree. It was so large only the middle was I able to view. The tree had a gray tone to it and there was a large cement-like structure- a building on the tree but it is part of the tree.
The building is crumbling. I look at it knowing that this isn't a tree from the Earth, it didn't belong anyway. I am aware of feeling calm as I wonder what lies on the other side of the collapsed tree.
I see myself on the other side of the tree. There is an orange glow on the horizion and I feel a refreshing breeze. I feel almost elated, free. I look over my left shoulder waiting for others to follow me, to come to the other side of the collapsed tree.

at home with the family on the Gulf Coast when there is a huge 'whooomp' and the classic blast cloud appears to the west, where Mobile Alabama is located. we start closing windows and doors and drawing curtains and another 'whoomp' and blast cloud appears to the north. Shortly afterward another hit to the east, but all these hits seem to line up on a latitude line just north of us. suddenly there are military men busting in the back door looking for shelter, obviously worried and talking among themselves, a half dozen in all. we all drop to the floor as the airblast washes over the neighborhood, must have been far enough away to leave the house standing. very vivid blasts, we are on the edge of the 'not totally destryed' zone. i start asking questions of the military guys but they do not answer, so i get a little irate and demand whatever info they have on why this might happen, who is responsible, where did these hit....they knock me out. i come to in the back of a military transport vehicle with other civilians and a handful of army guys, everyone is laying in the back of the truck. i demand to know where is my family, where are my cats, where are they taking me...no answer, just a smile from army dude and 'calm down it's a long ride'. i push my way out the back of the truck-i plan to walk back home-roll away from the truck following us and start down the tunnel back the way we came. it looked like the tunnel going into Mobile but it was blue. i get a few steps and realize i am severely poisoned and cannot walk but a few steps, collapse onto my back and die, worrying about my loved ones.

I had this dream early this morning (8/7/2010). I don't remember all of it, but the following parts were clear. Nuclear war was imminent, but no bombs had gone off yet.
In the first part of the dream I was in an office building and the people in charge were going floor by floor and making everyone go down to the basement. They even forced open the door to a bathroom where a young man had locked himself in to make him come along. He was wearing camouflage, but I don't think he was in the military - it was more of a fashion statement.
The scene changed and I was outside on the street. I wasn't in a large city with tall buildings, more like the suburbs. Most of the people had already left. Full trash cans lined the street and there were piles of things that people had abandoned as they left. Five abandoned children, none of them more than five years old, argued in shrill voices as they scavenged through a trashcan. A dead dog lay nearby, probably a black lab, but it was starting to bloat and decompose so it was hard to tell.
I was still with the young man from the office building and we drove to a shelter that had been set up in a building that had a large open room about the size of a high school gym. I don't know how much protection it would give since it didn't seem to be underground, but at least there weren't any windows. The people running the shelter were all wearing orange tshirts. They were very busy, but seemed to be well organized and not at all frantic. Therewere people of all ages collecting at the shelter. There was a row of beds set up in a large alcove off the main room. We were going to have to sleep in shifts because there weren't enough beds for everyone.

I was walking through space and standing on a scaled down Earth. I was observing from afar a conflict between two alien races peak. One of them threatend to destroy the Earth with a black hole. I did not see the races, all I know is that humans were not involved and that one race cared for the Earth and the other didn't. A black hole probability field then appeared over most of Australia leaving only the Eastern most tips of Sydney visible. I watched in awe as this dark void of nothingness hovered over the entire continent. I was without color or form, it wasn't. I stood without emotion watching the probability field hover over the Earth. Then I got scared and distracted and tried to get away from it, I stumbled and kicked it on accident. The black hole quickly fell to the Earth and time stopped. The leaders of the two quarraling alien races stopped and stared at me and the blue planet on which I stood. They didn't "say" anything to me, but I suddenly understood that what I had done was not reversable. I touched the probability field. The inevitable events to follow could not be undone or stopped. We all watched in horror as time started up again. Somehow the black hole caused a skip in time. We watched events take place and like the delay on live radio, the same sequence took place again a few seconds later. As the black hole hit the Earth, it went right through. Within moments most of Australia was gone. In its place was a perfect crater, like a chunck had been surgically removed and all that remained was a gaping wound, a hole in the middle of the Pacific ocean. Immediately all the water began to pour into the open hole and the continents began to convulse in pain. As they moved waves formed. Waves big enough to devour entire continents. All of Europe was taken in one swoop. Two thirds of Africa, Canada, the U.S. and most of Souht America gone. I saw a few remote towns high in the Himalayas and Andes and Rockies spared. The entire planet was dead in less than three minutes.
I was then swept up and taken away. I was taken to a crowded, musky room filled with old men dressed in suits. I sat in an oversized chair. My feet could not touch the floor and the arms of the chair were taller than my head. The men glared and scrutinized me as they walked by, each in turn giving me the evil eye. My husband is there (it's rare that he shows up in a dream) he tells me that I have to face the consequences of what I've done (destroying the Earth). He helps me off the chair and we follow another man who walks up to a door next to a bookcase. He opens it the wrong way and reveals a paved passage way that is dimly lit. There is a usually a large room on the other side of that door (I don't know how I know this), so this must be a ripple in space or dimensions.
I walk down the corridor my husband follows. We come to a chamber where there are trinkets scattered about. He picks up a strange looking deck of cards and I knock over an intricate goblet of water. He tells me that I have to complete the rutual to save the people and possibly myself. I've been damned. He's upset because I screwed up the ritual by spilling the water. Something calls me over to the next room. There is a man sitting crosslegged on an elevated stone table it looks like a shrine. He is naked aside from a cloth covering his private parts. His head is not human it's a dog or wolf very Egyptian looking. My husband hands him the cards and he starts to shuffle. The dog man starts talking about fate, and eternity and God and my place in the world. Holds out two cards and asks me to choose. I hesitated and asked him who he was...he told me that I already knew the answer to that question...he was the devil (not Satan, I've met him, this was one of his many higher ups). He told me that if i chose correctly I could save myself and the planet. My husband gets very exited and encourages me hurry up. I realize that we are playing a game of chance. But the devil never plays chance because he always knows the outcome. It's rigged. I told him no. My husband got upset. The dog-faced devil becomes insistant that it is the only way, that I have to choose. He assures me that it is pure chance and that if I want to save the Earth I don't have a choice. I must choose. After thinking for a long while I realized I was making a deal with the devil. They were tricking me into it. So I put the deck of cards down and walked away. I told them "I always have a choice" as I left. Everything fell apart.

This was the second I remember from last night's mix of dreams.
I was in a southwestern desert area much like New Mexico or South West Texas. I was in a house with people I didn't know. They all seemed to know each other and had all kinds of business to attend to. It was a casual scene with people coming and going. The people were like bikers or just working class type people in jeans and t-shirts.
I found myself stealing cigarettes from a pack that was left on the table when suddenly there was a large commotion outside. I do not remember any shooting although in a flash I was being helped into one of several SUV's along with a few other people, mostly women. The SUV crew was all paramilitary types in semi-BDU type gear. No helmets, just cammo pants and black or grey t-shirts and they were hyped up about the "raid" they just pulled off. I could see all the "bikers" were dead and the crewwas braggingabout using their pistols to do thejob.The driver pulled out his 1911 and was gesturing with it and said "You've got to use this, did you alluse your pistols!?!"
We drove away.

This came in a mix of dreams last night. I only remembered two of the scenes, this was one.
I was with my teenaged son and we were in a high penthouse suite at night overlooking a large city. The lights stretched out for miles and the big windows made our perspective appear at times to be floating above it all. A presence was in the room with us and we were having a conversation with it. It was a dark form that seemed to be a person and an ancientspirit. We didn't look at it but rather the amazing view. In all it was a pleasant exchange with no bad feelings. The being was explaining the history of the city or area.
The city was in a large valley that used to be mostly farms and there was water features running through it. I looked down at what appeared to be a cranberry pond at harvest time. The being explained that people were here for centuries and this had built up over time, but in the past it was a lush fertile area.
My son and I suddenly were directed to leave, or decided to leave. We went to the corner of the penthouse and into a large closet that was very different in construction. The inside of the room was styled much like my old farm house- plaster and lathe walls with white painted very basic styledwood trim. The door shut and the room began to fall as if the tower was falling apart. I don't remember anything beyond the falling sensation and the feelingthat soon we'd be hitting the ground.

This is my girlfriend's dream:
Last night I had a dream that Hunter and I were sitting on our bed in our bedroom and suddenly we could see some type of object. It's very hard to explain what it was but I will best I can. It was slightly orb looking floating/hovering around our room with wing-type contraptions that were helping it "fly". I was very astonished and wandering how we could see it because it looked so unreal and out of this world. This is all I can remember.
