In the South…
We’ll begin in the South and work our way up North. Headline #109 said, “Fatalities mount in border standoff. National Guardsman first military casualty in border crisis.”
I am happy to report that we don’t have a 5.0 score to report in the South; however, in order to make the projected headline even possible, a National Guardsman needs to be situated on the border to begin with. This was not even the case at the end of July, so this was a risky headline when it was created.
But that changed just a few days ago…

It’s already old news that Perry sent 1000 National Guardsmen down to the border, but did you know that there is a totally separate National Guard mission also on the border?

The lesser known Guardsmen are on a counter drug mission, which is completely separate than Perry’s plan. The point here is that there are now actual Guardsmen in position to fulfill our headline. Therefore, we get a slight tickle on this story (DreamSeer 1.0), in hopes that it stays this way.
Oh by the way, does everyone know that Perry has been indicted by the TX Grand Jury?

“Perry was indicted by an Austin grand jury on felony counts of abuse of official capacity and coercion of a public servant. Maximum punishment on the first charge is five to 99 years in prison, and two to 10 years on the second.”

In the North…
On May 25th, Julie111957 dreamed this snippet…
Dreamed about seeing a Pilot sitting in a jet. At first I thought he might be an Astronaut, but he wasn’t wearing a helmet like they wear in space. All I could see was his shoulders and head area. He was sitting in the jet with this helmet and visor down so I couldn’t see his face. He also had on an oxygen mask. His gear and the jet were all very high tech. I had the feeling like there was more than one jet being scrambled.
This was the main the dream content that generated Headline #36:
“F-22’s scrambled from [xxx] to intercept [xxx]”
The type of aircraft we chose came from a small set of linguistics and the dreamer’s obvious insistence on more advanced type technology (space-related technology in this same dream). Therefore, I pieced together that the F-22 (the most advanced interceptor we have) would be the type of airframe used for the intercept.
This dream-to-headline scenario is a great example about how in future renditions of these projects, we will take an iterative approach to developing headlines.
For example, since we obviously had a good sense that this dream event would come true, the next step would be to hunt down the locations and other details about the event, such as the base where the F-22 are stationed and what type of planes they were intercepting.
Nonetheless, this was a big hit…
“A Spike in Activity”
Russian bombers increase flights near U.S. airspace
by MICHAEL WINTER | USA Today
Posted on August 8, 2014 at 7:59 AM
For the second time since June, Russian nuclear bombers escorted by fighter jets have flown near U.S. and Canadian airspace around Alaska in recent days, prompting precautionary intercepts by American warplanes.
A U.S. air command official acknowledged at least 16 Russian forays around Alaska and northern Canada in the past 10 days, describing them as routine training missions. One intercept spotted a Russian spy plane among the Tupolev Tu-95 “Bear” bombers and Tu-142 reconnaissance and anti-submarine aircraft.
Russian bombers have regularly flown along the sensitive airspace between Russia, Alaska and Arctic Canada, but Smith called the latest missions “a spike in activity.”
The Russian defense military announced July 30 that “several” Tu-95MS strategic bombers escorted by MiG-31 interceptors had flown over the Arctic that day.
The July drills came a month after U.S. F-22s intercepted four Tu-95 Bears over the far western Aleutian Islands. Two of the strategic bombers then flew within 50 miles of the Northern California coast before turning away.
Analysis
We know based on this article that F-22s were in fact scrambled in late June timeframe. Since the dreams occurred in May (on the 25th of May, to be exact), this shall still be considered precognitive.
Obviously, the Air Force doesn’t release news immediately in some cases, so if we were insistent on keeping the August timeframe in a strict sense, this STILL would be a major hit because the news didn’t come about the June intercepts until August.
But I’m sure most readers picked up on the fact that the bigger story here is a significant “spike in activity.” In fact, we actually get another tickle on Headline #56 which talks about WWIII between Russia and US.
The article goes on to say…
To some U.S. military officials, the excursions carry echoes of the Cold War, when Soviet nuclear bombers tested U.S. air defenses.
In a reminder that the surveillance is not one sided. a Russian fighter jet intercepted a U.S. spy plane in April about 60 miles off the coast of eastern Russia, in international airspace over the Sea of Okhotsk, north of Japan.
That snippet is not enough to register a huge DreamSeer score on Headline #56, but the activity could become very troublesome in the near future.
The Main Takeaways
1. F-22s were scrambled this summer after the PA headline was created
2. More intercepts are happening now in the Alaska airspace, and many jets have been scrambled in August 2014
3. DreamSeer score is a 4.2 because we had no location data or enemy aircraft. However, this was a monstrous hit for Proj Aug and it could actually dovetail into that WWIII headline.
