We’ll finalize one PA headline here and provide a couple of urgent updates on two more. All three are “hits” because they registered on the DreamSeer scale, but two of them still have yet to fully manifest.
Headline #52
Let’s start with Headline 52: “Mudslide on California coastline”
Let’s now head out to San Bernardino, CA where on August 4th, we have “About 500 children trapped after mudslide; one person dead in CA flooding”
If you want to see a van buried by the mud, here’s the link: http://www.foxnews.com/us/2014/08/04/thousands-stranded-at-least-1-killed-by-southern-california-mudslides/
There was quite a bit of coverage here (meaning it was certainly no fluke):

http://guardianlv.com/2014/08/southern-california-wildfires-trigger-flash-floods-and-mudslides/
DreamSeer score is about 4.6. Some would ask, “Wouldn’t this be a perfect score?” Well, I dropped it just a few tenths of a point because San Bernardino actually sits about 30ish miles from the coastline. That’s pretty doggone close, though, and the score reflects that.
Here’s the real problem… with all the rain and storms lately, has this eliminated the threat of Headline #23, the drought migration? For example, this article mentions that “The first days of August have been surprisingly wet in Southern California, with unusual humidity and showers throughout the region.”

If you’re new to the NDC, then welcome! This article explains how one of our 119 Project August headlines came true (or at least registered a decent hit on our DreamSeer scale.) We’re still in phase 1 of formulating predictions based on collective dreamwork, and thus some of the content seems dire and substantially negative.
Stay tuned, though, because the success we’re having here will carry us directly into the next phase, where we actually get to choose the outcome ahead of time…or at least that’s what one of our teams will be attempting to do. The next phase is called “Paradigm 3,” which will follow Proj Aug (TBD). We’ll have sign-ups in a couple of weeks, so stay tuned or sign up for free email alerts.

Headline #23
HL23 said: “Southern community becomes ghost town because of worst drought in recorded history.”
We’ve been watching this headline literally all summer long since it was one of our earlier projected headlines. We hypothesized Texas, Arizona, Las Vegas, and much of California to be the big threat zones, but CA rose to the top of the threat list by August 1st.
So, with all that rain from HL52, is the drought over? This next article clears it up for us:
California’s severe drought unchanged despite record thunderstorms
Wow! Unchanged?!
I was originally thinking that HL23 and 52 (the two mentioned above) were contradictory…that we couldn’t possibly have both come true. But one day after the thunderstorms, the UN weighed in…
Again, Wow. First off, why do we even need the UN to be announcing stuff like this? Can’t Californians decide for themselves whether to migrate or not?? But even then, where’s the federal government? I mean, why are we skipping from local governance decision-making all the way up to International governance?
Too many questions. What we do know is that this is registers a small hit on the DreamSeer scale. Even though the actual migration hasn’t happened, we have news predicting it or talking about it, which represents a small hit, such as a 2.4(ish).
Headline #99
“Sinkhole develops in [City TBD] swallows cars, homes, and asphalt”
Notice first how an interesting word is used here: “Develops”
Most sinkholes that we hear about…they “Happen” or they “Open up.” I bring this up because it’s very relevant to the developing story out of Seoul, Korea. The articles for this story range from July 31st to August 7th, but we’re certain to start seeing more.
By the way, this is not just your everyday alternative news sink hole. This one is all over mainstream news because this developing set of sinkholes is poised to undermine the world’s sixth largest skyscraper!
The AP reports that a bunch of strange, small sinkholes are popping up out of nowhere in neighborhoods nearby.
The Korea Times tweeted a picture of one of the sinkholes back on July 21:
People in Seoul are alarmed by the increasing number of “sinkholes” appearing on streets http://t.co/mTKGwG0wv5 pic.twitter.com/JgeZ2DHY0q
— The Korea Times (@koreatimes1) July 21, 2014
These strange earthly issues are causing safety concerns, threatening the construction. The AP says that 70 of 123 floors have been built, but now locals living in residential neighborhoods nearby have started seeing sinkholes on their roads and became very worried.

This link has a picture of a nearby road opening up, to which the crews had to come in and patch it up: http://english.hani.co.kr/arti/english_edition/e_national/650053.html
There are many more links out there, but the point is that this is medium-level hit on our headline. No cars have been swallowed yet, but it’s a DEVELOPING story about a city, and the holes have been swallowing asphalt.
The only thing left is the skyscraper itself, but Headline #99 technically didn’t require a building…that would just make the prediction that much stronger. Therefore, as of now, we’re looking at a 3.5 on the DreamSeer scale, but watch out for updates.
